We come to the mall every time we go to Great America. It's one if the few malls left that aren't sparse and dying. We come here mostly for a candy fix, it's cheaper to buy it here than G.A. It's also a nice place to shelter if it rains and rides are shut down.
I don't know how I felt about visiting the mall after ten plus years of not coming around. It feels more like a place for second hand store now, kind of like belvedere mall. They are allowing so many DOLLAR STORE like places in here. I guess online shopping is creating this problem. But I guess it's a decent place to walk around and get a snack.
Great place for taking a walk or meeting up with family or friends. Every kind of store you will need or can even imagine. Large variety of food selections at the food courts. Bathrooms are located near all the major entrances and the food courts. Security guards and police officers are all around for the safety of the public. The mall is very crowded but still kept clean. There are plenty of handicap and regular parking spots.
Gurnee Mills is always a nice clean mall with good form of security now that they’ve included a guard dog to walk around. It feels safer to go in and out of shopping centers. It’s always a good place to get some food at the food court. Also recently just got my glasses at LensCrafters. It was a nice staffing very friendly. I’ve gotten four pairs there. They have great selections of different styles. We just recently went there and we parked at the reserve parking for parents with kids or pregnant because my wife is six months pregnant so it’s very convenient to get an entrance for us especially with everything that we have.
Do morning walks here in the winter and cold weather time.

Lots of places for a snack
My only reason for giving the small four stars is because lots of the stores that were in there before had closed down. Lots of vacant store fronts. However, I would have to give it five stars for cleanliness, very clean, not crowded in the stores that were there. Had some really good sales. I would recommend going.
Great selection of stores, but had wallet stolen and management did absolutely nothing, and actually got annoyed when I tried to actively check in or get help. Wouldnt even offer to check security cameras that a basic Walmart would do if something happened.
This mall is big asl and have a lot of stores and 2 food courts lots of fun and different stores from shoes candles soaps jewelry gifts ps if you have kids bring a wagon or stroller with bottom for bags lol they have carts you can rent for kids $10 each
