I wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt appreciation for the outstanding customer service we received during our recent stay at your hotel.
There was a bit of confusion regarding the room we had booked versus the one we were given, but your customer service team handled it with such professionalism and care. We truly felt valued as guests.
A special shout-out to Don, who welcomed us warmly on our first day and went above and beyond to assist us during breakfast over the past three days. His kindness made a significant difference in our experience. Also to add Katrina who recognized us.
I also want to commend Margaret from housekeeping. We were pleasantly surprised when we noticed that she had replaced our old towels, emptied the garbage, and restocked our coffee supplies without us even asking.
The water park and other activities were the best too. We enjoyed all the water slides the best was the lazy river, heart dropping wolf trail, and the hot springs. Awesome experience!
Lastly, I must mention how delicious the breakfast was! The bacon, wedges, and made-to-order eggs were fantastic—our kids enjoyed every bite!
PLEASE READ BEFORE GOING. Just got there for a weekend getaway and it was HORRIBLE.
I came from NY and decided to pay for late check out so my child can enjoy the park a little longer and we can shower in the rooms to use dyers since there isn’t any in the park bathrooms. The PARK LOST POWER (AND THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME THIS HAS HAPPENED). We didn’t get any answers at all. I requested to speak with a supervisor or manager AFTER 30 minutes and i dealt with Dylan who was absolutely unhelpful and didn’t give a damn about what i had to say. I explained my child who has behavioral issues was having an episode because we waited 30 minutes to get on a ride and everything was shut down. I also explained i just paid for extra time and requested if i can get my money back for that he told me “absolutely not” i asked if we can at least get a free meal he said no he can give me a free 1 game pass for bowling (which cost 7 bucks) after waiting 2 hours we ended up just leaving because we had check out the room. Also The park was cold in the water park they can definitely bump up the heat a little more. My child’s lips were purple and she was shivering and now developed a cough and runny nose. ALSO we went to the arcade and i was charged twice on my credit card. Asked for a refund and they told me i have to email customer service (didn’t provide me the information)
Not to mention the room we stood in, the toilet had poop stains in it and weird Odor
I don’t know what happened great wolf lodge but get it tf together!!!
Highly upset and disgusted with this, no one contacted me back from customer service
Horrible horrible HORRIBLE experience
Just take your money somewhere else!!
Everything was great! Kids had an absolute blast. Can’t beat the experience as it will bring you closer to your kids. Had a balcony room on the 4th floor beautiful view. Maintenance was quick to respond to fix a faulty tub drain we contacted them right through the app. The app also allows for other requests making it very convenient. Honestly, the only thing that I could say to improve on would be the speed of the elevators as they are quite slow (there may be reasons for that with the amount of children there). There are stairwells which will get you where you need to go faster than the elevator. All in all, a great time and thank you to the entire staff at Great Wolf Lodge. I highly recommend this location!
We loved our 2 night stay , water park was great . Got the Wolfpack for my 4 yo and 2 yo and they loved all the activities, so many things
Included and the kids
Loved all. We also got the cabana, which was worth it for the family.
Food package we got was buffet style, did not like it because we were looking for somewhat of a higher protein option, but there was no grilled chicken or anything lean like that. Most of it seems great but not one thing lean protein option. Overall great but the food.
I’m writing this from a couple without kids going with family that has kids. I’m giving it a 4 out of 5 because it wasn’t as bad as some of the horror stories I read. |Yes if you come with kids that want and get everything they touch, you better take out a second mortgage because everything runs on money here. So if you want to keep it on budget bring snacks, drinks, and order takeout. |The room wasn’t bad, we stayed for 2 nights (Thursday/Friday). They pulled the trash during the day while we were at the water park. Did not do anything with linens since we were a short stay. We were by magicquest, it was a little noisy. But nothing worse that what I’ve experienced in a hotel. 11pm the quiet time went into effect and everything stopped. |The watermark was fun. This was my first time to one of this magnitude. We did every slide except the trap door one. I’m not a fan of the body slides. Walking around the park I noticed staff with brooms and dust pans keeping up with garbage. The eating areas I saw staff actively sanitizing the tables with all purpose spray and a rag. Lifeguard staff were constantly pacing the pools watching. Had one instance of them kicking an entire group of kids out of the adult hot tub. Every night they rinsed the pool decks. Friday night I saw a hot water pressure washer and surface cleaner. They moved the pool furniture and were surface cleaning the deck.|As far as food went, everything is ordered thru app or kiosk by room charge or a credit card. We only ordered a couple pizzas and combo meals the 2 days we were there. Food quality was that of which you would expect from an Aramark or Sodexo run sports venue. They did have a gluten free pizza option as my girlfriend has gluten intolerance. 2 pizzas and the gluten free one was $60ish dollars. If you want alcohol, plan on selling an organ. Pool side 6 pack was $40. The Dunkin Donuts seemed average priced and was dependent on what they had in stock. One morning they had egg bites and English muffins, the next day they did not. |One of the things I found funny was the pricing in the gift shop. It seemed small or hidden to set the hook on the big one before he knew it. At first glance you would swear build a bear was only $4.99, but the actual price of $32.99 matched the background tag color very closely in the dim lighting. So it can get expensive quickly if you don’t pay attention.
Great place for a family getaway. Fun for kids and adults! All of the staff were very friendly during our stay, always making sure to say hello and to enjoy our stay. The arcade is expensive in my opinion, meaning the credits go fast. Bowling let's you bowl for 5 frames, and mini golf was about 8 holes. The magic quest is fun but a lot of walking back and forth and up and down stairs, so be prepared.
The entire place is cashless, except a machine to put your cash onto a card(near the water park entrance) or if you put an exact amount (with no change) on your arcade card. The main elevators are a little slow because there's two. However, my room was in another section that had 3 elevators and that was faster.
We really enjoyed our stay at Great Wolf. We took 2 kids who absolutely loved the tube slides & wave pool. There was a slide attendant Jayden that the kids thought was hilarious! The room was clean (a little chilly though but thankfully we brought long sleeve pajamas). Overall, it was a great experience. We will definitely go back again!
If you are looking for an overcrowded resort that has kids running though the halls at all hours of the night and morning..I was awoken at 4 am today, only two elevators that take an eternity to come, limited life guard staff that actually do their jobs, and want to freeze in your room, at the water park and walking around this is the resort for you.
As a licensed WSI I was applauded at the lack of lifeguards in the toddler slide and pool area..there was only ONE! There were young kids going down three at a time and rolling down the slides. There was no one there directing the kids.
There was no one looking at the capacity of people, it was beyond over crowded at the water park. People walked in and said, this is insanity. There are way too many people.
We witnessed a young boy fall, it took forever for him to get proper help and when someone did arrive they didn’t even have a first aid bag or emergency kit. I was in shock at how poorly prepared the staff was.
The lazy river was an absolute nightmare. There were kids wrestling, pushing through other people including my 75 year old dad.
My 2 year old daughter was freezing in the water, we had to leave as she was shivering. The resort was freezing!!!
I don’t understand how this resort can pack so many people in, not have the staff to support the amount of people they book.
We will not be returning to this location ever again. The Maryland location is so much better.
