Easy location to get too. We came here for a birthday and kids were given wolf ear headbands which they loved. Our room was cute & clean but no shampoo. I made a call and they brought us lots immediately. So the staff is helpful and friendly. We did have to exit one area for a while due to a clean up in 1 pool. Disappointing but understandable. Not happy about the parking fee & the bed was highly uncomfortable. They have a really nice souvenir shop & kids loved the arcade. My husband and I felt the food we had at dinner in their restaurant there could be improved.
I went on this trip with my mom and my brother and it was an overall good experience but I do have some issues. First of all the prices were way too expensive, especially the birthday package. If you’re reading this review and is thinking about buying the birthday package, it is definitely not worth all the money. When we walked into our room we were expecting some sort of decorations for my brother’s birthday but it was very minimal. We could’ve brought our own. There was only a bag full of like three balloons and had cups, napkins, paper plates, and plastic wear. The only good part about the package is the pizza, to be honest the cake tasted and looked like cornbread. Also the service downstairs at the pizza and dessert place was not the best. When we brought our little paper that said we had the birthday package and asked for the pizza and cake they gave us some sort of attitude. Especially the lady who worked at the pizza place. I didn’t catch her name but she’s white, short, brunette, and gave my mom the biggest attitude ever, so look out for her. And the person at the cake/ice cream place looked at us like we were weird and stupid which I didn’t understand because we made what we wanted sound very clear. Because of this service, my mom reported them to the front desk and our issue was soon resolved. Another complaint I have is the security. When me and my family had arrived in the water park area of the resort, I heard that there was a man who snuck into the resort and tried to talk and touch little kids which was really concerning. When I was walking back to my room I also heard some family talking about how their kids supposedly saw the man stick his hand down a child's swimsuit which really disgusted me. It made me really think about the security of this place. When I looked back on it, it is really seemed easy to just walk inside of the resort without a wristband and go into the indoor water park. Especially if you went inside of the water park through the pizza place. I went in that way and they didn't even check for my wristband at first. They only checked my wristband when I through the main entrance. My last complaint that I have is the prices, and I touched on this subject earlier in the review. I just believe that some of the extra packages were a bit too expensive. Like the birthday package. It was very minimal and sort of seemed like a scam because the package said that my brother's name was going to be on the decorations and on the cake but it was not. I also believe that the rooms are just a bit too overpriced but I do understand because of the things that they provide. Me and my family had a great time overall and made very fun memories.
We went here on a family vacation with our kids, my sister-in-law and her kid. The kids, while young, did have a lot of fun. I think it will be even better when they are older and the adults have more to do as well. All the staff were happy and interacting with our young toddler as she waddled down the halls.
We went to celebrate my son’s birthday. We all loved it. We had a great time! Rooms were very nice and clean. I have a very delicate back so, in my opinion, our bed was a little uncomfortable. Other than that service was great and food at the buffet was delicious. Can’t wait to go back to finish the kids MagicQuest.
Great weekend destination. Our room wasn't ready 4:20pm but we used the waterpark all day so it wasn't a big deal. There are some renovations and deep cleanings needed, but most of the property is in great shape. My kids (8 & 11) had an absolute blast. Even with minor issues, at this price point I feel it deserves 5-stars across the board. We will return.
Yes, pricey, but worth it. We only stayed one night but next time will be multiple nights to actually get to experience everything we want to. There's so much to do. Check in is at 4 but we checked in around noon and within 30 minutes had a text that our room was ready. We got to enjoy the water park, restaurants, and arcade for the full day before resigning to our personal whirlpool in the room for the evening. A fantastic getaway for 2 adults just searching for some fun and relaxation. Only complaint was that the indoor lazy river is quite short and busy, but we look forward to coming back for the outdoor pools when they open. Everything else was fantastic, we especially enjoyed the 21+ hot springs and the Ten Paw bowling. We will be back!
Visited Mason location and had an amazing experience with 2 friends and their children. Room was amazing, clean, service was amazing. I had a nose bleed as I was coming down a slide and the staff that assisted me during that time was professional and patient.
I must commend and highly recommend internal recognition of bartender, Keonte, at the outside bar/and Grizzly Robs... He was so friendly, informative and an amazing bartender. He made the stay extra special. He was knowledge of what drinks/spirits were available and what could be made. Such a sweet and phenomenal employee . Great job, Keonte.
Will be making this a yearly adult friend/children trip. Kudos. Only reason not 5 star, lack of 2 elevators at each elevator section and the new parking fee.
Although pricey, the overall experience is good. The rooms are large and was nice to have a dedicated kids room with bun beds (wolf room). The water is warm, and clean. Plenty of staff on duty. Not fan of the charging for parking, seems greedy seeing a night is over 300 for one night. The slides are great, but would be better if they had better description of what you were getting on. Is it worth the money, I think so if you think of this as a family event and get every last drop of entertainment out of it. Keep in mind room check is at 4pm, so I recommend coming a few hours early so you can maximize your time at the water park. Closing at 8pm when the lodging is on site seems early, especially with such a later check in time. There is a magic game the kids play, it is good for the water park down time for the kids. Again, it can be pricey but as part of the overall experience it fits. I would advise eating dinner off the grounds as the selections were not the best. Luckily lots of restaurants are near by. Maybe ill come back, I am not totally sold, but from the kids perspective it wins 4 stars.
