Absolutely love this casino and resort. It is very family friendly. The fun zone is great for kids of all ages from toddlers to teens. The food here is awesome. You can get food sent right up to your room for no extra charge. They have a 24 hour bakery with the most amazing Pesto pizza and yummy pastries, also the Grand Cafe stays open pretty late and offers late night breakfast. The concerts here are top notch. Honestly one of my favorite places to stay in Reno!
Excellent customer service by the Vip Hosts and Upper Hotel Management! Impeccable Cleanliness! Very modern Design and Grandeur. Elegant and Sophisticated... Classy and Beautiful... I especially enjoy the Amazing Chandelier that hangs above the main entrance by Hotel Valet and Reception!

My son and I fought horrible weather to make the drive to GSR this past weekend. We saw the Tosh concert, which was funny as always, but the highlight was spending hours after the show in the High Limit lounge with World Class bartender An-An! To say she is amazing would be an understatement. My son loves the drinks she makes us, but as good as those drinks are-you tell her the type of alcohol and she'll make some concoction that is sure to please, I truly enjoy watching her work the room. I'm in the customer service industry too, thus I appreciate how hard she works and how happy her customers are. When I say "her" customers, I'm saying that because there are always people at the bar gambling BECAUSE they want to hang out with An-An. |Whether you go to watch football, see a show or just party and gamble with friends, I suggest you stop by the High limit Room when An An works- the drinks and atmosphere will NOT disappoint!!!
I've always liked the hotel, checking in and checking out was great, and pleasant greetings at the counter. Made an effort to speak with security staff members by saying good morning or hello. Most of them out of the four days stay, did not respond back. But my overall experience was good. My room could have been a little cleaner as far as the carpets. But I will stay again. Hopefully on the next go around, The security staff is more pleasant to speak with.
Rooms nice. Smacked with a 100 deposit and got 3 bucks back for a resort fee I was unaware of. Everything was about 30$ a person to do anything. Mom of 5 we spent a lot of time away from the hotel Finding things more affordable to do unfortunately. Def changed since I was a kid
All in all I really like this Casino and Hotel, and it still is one of the best in Reno, IMO. Gambling is Gambling , but the Casino makes you feel like it's worth it to sit down and enjoy the games. The Casino has good drink servers and the drinks are a good quality while you gamble, which is very appreciated. The Slots feel fair enough and the Casino treats you fair as a gambler by giving you the drinks and good service while you do so, even the table dealers had personality and were fun regardless of winning or losing. My biggest complaint is that the Casino is way too hot. Everyone I talked to felt the same way too, a few of my friends even stopped gambling and left due to how uncomfortable it was.
