Best WLM Reviews

I was looking so forward to checking this place out. I was not impressed. The casino floor is super loud and the staff is mediocre in friendliness. Every slot machine, I sat down at, had a glare from the lights above, bouncing right in my eyes. The wine served on the casino floor was extremely cheap and therefore gave me a bad headache after only two glasses. Slots are not loose. I did not check out any of the restaurants because I don’t go to a casino to eat. I was in and out of there in under an hour and a half. Just terribly disappointed it wasn’t better than I experienced. I’ll pop in on my next visit to give it another shot. Really hoping my next visit changes my opinion on the first visit.
This is a great hotel and casino! The whole hotel is clean and very well maintained. The rooms are spacious, clean, and have great views of either pool, golf course, or both. Very friendly and accommodating staff.
The casino is large with both tables, slots, and poker. The pool area is very nice and relaxing that includes swim-up bar, lazy river, and 21+ area with jacuzzi.
The restaurants on property are all very good.
Highly recommend for great rooms, food, and entertainment.
Stayed for one night for a mini vacation while in town for work. The room was clean. We were pretty disappointed with what it cost to stay here and enjoy the amenities. $250 for the room included the resort fee of $25, we didn’t use any of the resort so that was kind of a waste. We ate at the steakhouse because we figured that the would accommodate our special dietary needs, and they did, however it was overshadowed by the fact that my husband sipped a shard of glass up in his straw. (This is a restaurant that is charging $200 for one steak…. And there was glass in his drink) Fortunately he caught it in his mouth before he swallowed it, but it was extremely sharp and would have certainly caused damage. We went into the casino after dinner where we found the staff to be very monotone and generally unfriendly, which is fine until you factor in the $15 minimum bets for EVERY table. It was pretty ridiculous, you couldn’t even play and enjoy yourself without spending a fortune. I get that it is a resort but we go to casinos across the country and you can always find $5 tables. It was pretty disappointing. Finally the morning we left we ordered two pots of coffee to our room, one regular and one decaf. First….. that was $30 and it took 45 minutes to get it. Then when it showed up the coffee wasn’t even labeled as to which was which. I have a medical condition and cannot have regular coffee, so I couldn’t even drink the coffee we ordered. They removed it from our room charge but the guy who dropped it off basically told my husband that he couldn’t even guarantee which one was decaf. So we stopped by the front desk to let them know what had happened and that a resort should probably be better at labeling those things just for issues like sensitivities and allergies. She did not care. She literally said “if I think about it, I’ll mention it to the dining supervisor, but I doubt that they will do anything about it.” Needless to say we will not be back to this hotel or casino. Next time we will go to the L’auberge next door and see if they can offer a better experience. I wouldn’t waste your money unless you have lots of it to waste!
Just a visit for a few hours, but the staff was nice and helpful. It is smaller than others I have been to but very clean. The food was 1st class.
My only complaint is that the slots just ate my money giving me very little back and didn't trigger bonus features enough to keep me going even a little bit longer. I don't mind giving up my money, cause I know the house always wins, but give me back enough that it takes awhile to take it all and is fun.
We had an absolute blast. We go to Vegas often but just felt like driving somewhere closer and since it was only 5 hours away, we decided to check it out. We were not disappointed. The corner room suite was beautiful and had a lovely view of both the lake and private beach and the beautiful pool area. It was like a mini Vegas with less of the crowds and crazy amount of walking. Our room was so close to all the action and they even had live music every night at the rush lounge. One of the singers was even on idol. Highly recommend. We will definitely be going back often.
The property is well maintained. Rooms are clean. Beds are comfy. Love the location. I like to sit at the little beach with my kids. We also enjoy the pool area. It has a lazy river and slides. I had a minor mishap with a room service employee, however the matter was taken seriously when reported to management. I would stay again.
This is a great hotel. The staff is always friendly and the rooms always clean. The beds and bedding are very comfy and the amenities in the room are always just right. I have stayed here many times and it never disappoints. This trip I forgot my apple watch in the room. Made one phone call, left a message Sunday morning and my watch was in the mail today. Great service all the way around.
This hotel is amazing! There’s nothing like it in this area. The room was so cool and spacious! The pool area was like a tropical oasis! The lazy river is beautiful and was the perfect temperature! My only issue was the cost of everything. $18 for a 20oz icee?? Really??
It’s also a great venue for music! We saw Rick Springfield and Richard Marx and enjoyed the intimacy of the smaller venue.
