The beds were very comfy, the room could have been a bit cleaner in the bathroom, and the wall had a hole in it where someone must have pushed the door open too hard. The folks at the front desk were very nice, and the casino was fun. Food was decent in the sports bar, but they really need to provide fresh coffee at the buffet and not Folgers in a big tank that was luke warm at best.
Don’t know they tell you that your 50 dollars will be refunded when you check out it’s been nearly 2 weeks and still no refund. All I’m saying is be up front honest with people tell them it takes 2 weeks to finalize the bill and then you get your 50 dollars back. Cause I was literally told that as soon as I check out it will be refunded v back into my account. And it’s still pending and it’s been 2 weeks. When I paid for the room I don’t have the chose the money comes straight out of my account. But you get to wait before you refund me. Not to mention how rude the staff is when I called about it. I don’t figure this will be read or anything done about it. I probably won’t even get my money back.
I’m probably a little harsh but I wanted to share. It’s been a few years since I’ve been here and it shows. The first room I entered had no working deadbolt so I immediately went down to the front desk and requested a room change. The room was nice enough but the mattress had lots of mileage on it. Uncomfortable. The bathroom was clean but there seemed to be spots on the shower tile. Mold maybe? Not sure. Toilet and sink were in good shape. Overall the room was very clean. Needed a new coffee maker and blow dryer both were broken. Not quite Vegas.

I guess why they call it gambling.
No drink service and with all the money you losing most drinks not free.
I guess the house will stay winning.

We had a great time at Gold Strike Casino. Great atmosphere, amazing staff. We did not stay at the hotel but will in the future. The only thing that would have made our trip better would have been a jackpot lol. We will be back.
We had the buffet. The prime rib was over cooked. The fish was dry as sand. The sweet potato casserole was bland and like all the sugar was drained out of it. The fried rice wasn't good either. Probably the worst buffet I've been to in a very long time. Do not recommend eating here. Go somewhere else.

Tunica is in a sad state. Needless to say, I don't EVER have to visit Goldstrike or, for that matter, Tunica, MS again. Tunica casinos were booming years ago. It was my favorite spot - like a little Vegas. It had been several years since my last visit and boy has it gone down.
Slot machines were pretty loose. No jackpot, but I did fairly well. Best believe, whatever they give you on the slots, they recoup at the tables, the Mississippi Stud tables anyway. That's all I play, and each of the tables I sat at was brutal.

I did send a email 3 days ago and nobody ever responded back. Here is another update now I’m being told it will be 30 days before I get my money back. They tell me to send an email I did and no body replies back to me. This is so ridiculous they won’t me to just forget about it and I’m not. Can someone please help me with this
