First time trying Giordano’s and we had an overall nice experience. Though we are not deep dish pizza fans, we still tried it and it was delicious. The portion size was large so we did end up with leftovers. We also ordered the buffalo wings and fries which were pretty good. Hugo was our server and he was very attentive and answered all of our questions. I highly recommend the cannoli with the dip for dessert, super delicious!
I had to try this famous pizza, and I did not get disappointed. The taste is great and the service was good. Fried calamari as starter is a must. Consider the serving quantities as high. I could only ate 2 slices, prices are actually decent. You gotta try it at least once.
When in Chicago, deep dish pizza is a must, and Giordano’s is certainly one of the best. The fried sampler was quite delicious. Most importantly, the pizza here was fabulous and was a great first experience with quite the polarizing style of pizza. Spectacular!
The 10 inch was plenty for two people. Food was delicious, highly recommend.
We got the appetizer platter because we were told the pizza was going to take 45 minutes. They both came out within minutes of each other though.
If I go back I’d probably skip the appetizer platter
Be prepared to wait what feels like a century. First time we tried deep dish and it was really good. I recommend if it’s your first time get a personal pizza and share it( we split one for two) also the sampler is super yummy nice start especially when waiting for the pizza
My favorite deep dish in Chicago. The “special” pizza is a perfect blend of meat, sauce, veggies, and thick cheese with crust perfection. Be warned: the individual sized deep dish lunch pizzas are not the same as the famous thick crust version which takes around 40 minutes to cook to order. Worth the wait!
This is a must-eat in Chicago. Their food is delicious and they are such a fun place to be at.
Service was great and our waitress was super helpful as to what was good on the menu (their deep dish pizza obviously). We had some special wishes too for our pie and they did a good job as to accompany those.
They are a little busy though, regardless of what time you're gonna be arriving at. That might be the downfall for this place being so good. If you don't mind going a little late in the evening you should be fine though.
I really liked the food. The deep dish was pretty good. Small size will be a lot for two. It’s total 6 pieces and my husband and I had 2 each. We had to wait for 45 minutes for the table. Everything was okay before the waitress tried to kick us out. We didn’t even finish our beers. It wasn’t that packed when we were leaving that’s why we were annoyed. I’m writing this for the manager and the waitress name started with a B. I think the waitress needs to be trained again.
