Very fun to experience, an amazing place for the family to walk around and discover different things to play on with the kids. There even looked to be a small water park that looked fun. The building by the little lake has a small interactive museum thing looked very cool. Wish we had one of these where I live, there is also a penny press and ice cream in another building with sests ans chairs. Picnic tables for eating and I am so jealous. This place is awesome
This is such a beautiful park. So many cool things for the kids to play on. The sound garden is pretty neat. The flowers are stunning. I wish they were open longer in the evening because the park lit up at night is stunning.
We found the lake scenic, and the decks with chairs for sitting and enjoying the view are a nice touch. Unfortunately the places listed as gardens are disappointing.
We were glad we went during the week because it looks like it would get pretty crowded on weekends and in the summer.
On the map it looks like a giant place, but we parked at the north end near the wetland gardens, and it was a reasonable amount of walking to get to pine valley and back around the loop.
I love this place...I love the pollinating flowers, and nature, I love the activities for adults and kids. I do wish there was an area for pets...people love their pets...I do get many people don't clean up after their pets,and their is the liability factor, also there is riverside across the street, but come on....this is a giant park, 1 that would be great to allow pets.
Absolutely an experience anyone visiting Tulsa needs to see!
This place reminded me of parks in Spain. They just don't make parks like this in the Midwest.
We spent a few hours exploring. If we had more time, we would have happily spent time sitting at so many of the places to read and enjoy the views.
Great place for kids to have a birthday party. The kids loved it. Nitrogen Ice Cream Show! How cool is that for the kiddos? Great experience for kids and adults! Book your kids' birthday party there, or take them there for a fun learning experience.
The fact that this place is unique and FREE almost gets it five stars. The only reason it isn’t five star worthy, in my opinion, is because it doesn’t take as long as you’d think (or others say) to explore the whole park, it’s pretty busy, it’s easy to lose sight of your kid(s) and once you’ve been it kind of loses its allure. It’s definitely worth checking out and if you’re local I can see it being a favorite play area.
Must go if in Tulsa or surrounding area. The idea that this is a privately owned space that has over 465 million invested to offer a free space to the public is just mind blowing. The landscaping to the creative play spaces for children is just magical.
I recommend carving a few hours of your time to come if you want to immerse in it. Bring bikes and enjoy riding around the river. They have a huge community indoor space that you can sit or study. If it’s cold, they have fireplaces inside as well.
I really loved the giant pond with koi fish. It was beautiful around sunset sitting in cushioned rocking chairs on a dock. We got canes down the street and made a little picnic next to one of the little koi ponds outside the community space.
If you have children, they have so many different place spaces, you could definitely spend half a day there, easy.
