I was pleasantly surprised by the Fremont. Super easy check in with no wait at all. The elevator was very conveniently located. The room was small but pleasant. The bed was great. Despite what some people say, it was NOT noisy. Sure, you could hear some of the noise from outside but guess what? You're in Vegas, and you're supposed to be there to party! If you don't like noise, stay home!
Now, there's just one thing...housekeeping. Or rather, the lack of housekeeping. We stayed 6 nights and our room got cleaned ONCE. We left in the mornings and there was housekeeping on our floor, but they didn't come to clean our room. When I stopped at the desk and asked for the room to be cleaned, they told me someone would drop off some towels and sheets, and we could make the bed ourselves. Sorry, not acceptable. Guys, when I'm on vacation, part of the reason I pay for a hotel is so that somebody will CLEAN MY ROOM. Come on, Fremont, fix this, and I'll be happy to stay again!
Free valet was really great for us. You can hear music from Fremont Street pretty clearly all night. Small room, but worked for us for the 1 night we needed. No pool in the hotel, but a couple hotels over. You get to pick your own room which was cool!
Rooms are newly renovated and clean. Small but very clean and updated, we liked it. I'm laughing at some of the reviews - people complaining about family friendly. You brought kids to Fremont Street because you thought a place lined with casinos, street bars, and half naked street performers was a great place for families? Or the one that had their phone stolen because they left it on a machine and now claim its a giant crime ring? Come on people. Some personal responsibility. ||Do some research before you go somewhere - Fremont Street is a really fun place for adults that like to party. It's loud late at night. And if you leave a phone lying around someone of the thousands and thousands of people might take it. Common sense. But the room at this hotel was nice, if you are an adult that likes Freemont Street fun.
My friends and I stopped by here because they wanted to visit the historic casino. We parked at a parking garage nearby and walked here. There are tons of street performance that you'll see outside. When we walked into the casino, you can tell the demographic here is very different from downtown Las Vegas with the popular casino. The tables here are cheaper to play in but there also not a lot of tables. You'll see security around just to help make you feel safe.
For my first time staying in the Downtown area I was very impressed with this hotel and would certainly stay again. Checking in was the fastest and most seamless process I’ve ever had in the city and there were never any queues at the reception throughout my stay. There’s plenty of lifts serving each of the floors and again I never had a wait.
Although my standard room was small it was modern and spotlessly clean, clearly having recently been refitted. The lighting throughout was good, with reading lights, plenty of lamps and a ‘mood light’, plus the TV was a great size for the room. There was an ironing board in the reasonably sized wardrobe as well as a coffee machine, but the mini bar remained empty. The air-conditioning worked really well without being too noisy and sleep quality was wonderful. The only issue some people might have is noise from the street experience outside was loud, so if that’s likely to be bothersome try asking for a room furthest away. The bathroom was equally as clean and modern as the main bedroom area with a fantastic shower and wonderful soft towels.
Overall it was a great value stay and I’ll certainly be considering it again next time I’m in the city.
Positive: We love that there is valet, and that it is right on Fremont street. The staff are always very nice. The food court is awesome, and the rooms are very comfortable. we love it here Negative: If the slots were a bit looser, make it easier to win. It would be nice if Dunkin Donuts was a little cheaper, I understand its in a hotel, but its pricey. Negative: ""
I spent three fun days at the Fremont Hotel and Casino. Check in was a breeze, Free Valet parking for guests. Rooms are on the smaller size but have been renovated and are really nice. Boyds has two other properties in the downtown area, so you have three options for building up your rewards points. If you have limited mobility like me, you can get around easily to all the properties on Fremont Street. Lots of dining options at the hotel and close by. The staff was friendly, and the cocktail service was tremendous.
My sister-in-law and I absolutely loved our stay at the Fremont Casino. The only slight criticism I have is that the pictures made the room seem larger than what it really was, and the bathroom / sink was very tiny. Absolutely love the entertainment on Fremont Street. It was right outside the casino door. Everything was so convenient
