When I got there and the room they gave me was in the corner. Had a dresser up against the bed with the TV on it. It was small, it was hard to get around the room
I was very upset and I had to talk to the girl and get her to give me a better room than the one she gave me in the corner. I will never stay at foxwood's Casino again in any of their rooms.
Foxwoods is not what it used to be.
Yes, it's big, but it's also empty.
There was one place there that was the best and that was Grace by Nina. The food was amazing. The entertainment was amazing. The service was the best I've ever had.
If and when I go back to Foxwoods Casino, that's where I will go just to eat.
We stayed at Great Cedar. The location of the hotel was in the middle of Foxwoods. Conveniently located. Unfortunately had to walk about 5-7 minutes for a breakfast. Service was fantastic and all staff was pleasant. The wait staff in the casino was scarce. We played bingo and everyone was accommodating and very helpful. Will do bingo again.
We like Foxwoods’s for its ease of access and its atmosphere. Everywhere we went was clean and pleasant. Highly recommended!
Warning, this happened to me and my wife. Jan 2024. Was accused of breaking glass top on a slot machine. We were having a great night, winning, went to dinner at California Pizza. Had time to play a Cedars before heading home. Me and my wife are in are 70"s Never had a problem in over 20 years of playing at Foxwoods. Security guards came over while I"m playing a machine and said I broke a machine, I told them they have the wrong person, they stated they have me on video. I ask to please show me the video, They refused ,won"t do it. They want 430 dollars for the repair, again show me the video of me breaking the machine and I will pay you right now Refuse. They ban me for life manager was very rude treated me and my wife like criminals. We were very loyal customers even supporting Foxwoods during COVID. Talked to a long time Security guard at Mohegan, told him what happen, stated they made a mistake when we accuse someone who denies it we have no problem showing the Video. I also wrote a letter to Foxwoods explaining that I did not break a machine but was told the ban remains. As I write this I hope someone will take the time to look into this , still very upsetting five months later. Sorry for the long review Again I did not break any machine then or ever. Ruined what was a great night.
Thank you
Stayed at Foxwoods for the first time back in July and just found the pix I took in my phone and reminded me to leave a review. We normally stay at Mohegan but decided to give Foxwoods a try to mix things up. The Fox Tower was fine - it's not a 5-star luxury hotel, but it was acceptable to me and I am largely a luxury traveler. Our room was clean and comfortable. Check-in was fine - staff could use some polish in terms of welcoming guests with some enthusiasm. We chose to stay here to try out some of Foxwoods amenities - we don't even gamble but enjoy dining out, shopping and spa. Dinner at Hell's Kitchen was great. We also enjoyed our meal at Red Lantern. The spa was good - we enjoyed the co-ed facilities where we could relax in the hot tub together before our massages. There is a Juniors right downstairs where we were able to have a nice, convenient breakfast. We also like that there is a California Pizza Kitchen for lunch. We didn't have the kids with us, but would like to return with them to checkout the outdoor pool, arcade and candy shops. We also enjoyed the Tanger Outlets. Overall it's an easy place to just get away for the weekend and chill.
I stayed two nights at the Fox Tower Hotel for an event at Foxwoods. This review is specifically about the Fox Tower. The Fox Tower is connected via walkway to Foxwoods Resort. It does have their own casino but if your looking for the Foxwoods vibe, the other hotels have that. It is also a very long walk from the Fox Tower to Foxwoods (about a half mile).||The rooms were small and just OK. The furnishing were older, no USB ports except on the alarm clock. Rooms were dark.||My biggest complaint has to be the elevators. We were assigned Floor 28. And during check-out (which is 11AM), it took us 38 minutes to get our family and luggage down to the lobby. Each of the elevators that came to our floor were filled with people. It had to of been the most frustering part of the trip.||There were very limited services availible. The food court has never reopened since COVID (4 years ago). There is no indoor pool at the Fox Tower. And we were told we could not use the pool over at Foxwoods.||Place could really use a remodel.
Went to celebrate my birthday. With the construction being done, it was a little confusing to find the correct parking garage. There was no one to ask, and no directory to find what we were looking for. Overall it was a good time.
What a fun time. I found $15, $25, and $50 tables to be very fun. It's important to remember to bid responsibly, and to call it quits when you stop having fun. This is a family friendly casino, with a lot of shopping options, and eateries. There were kids everywhere. I wasn't real comfortable drinking around all the kids, and the servers were kind of rude; I felt like I was inconveniencing them by asking for a drink. Also, I kept getting asked for my players card, but there were no willing employees to tell me where to get one, until the day I was going home. I asked, but kept getting blown off. All in all the time spent there was enjoyable, and I can't wait to return!
It took 40 minutes to checkin. Room was decent. The casino and amenities are good fun and the resort is absolutely huge. They have to abide by CT law, so alcohol is stopped bang on 1am. Not sure I’d make the effort to return, but good fun for a night if passing through.
