Best WLM Reviews

We stayed at the resort for 2 nights and I was a little worried because of recent reviews on the place. But upon arrival everything was clean and updated. Prices were definitely on the higher end but what do you expect for an high end resort? We stayed in a suite that came with spa passes and we highly recommend that! Everything was very clean, nice, and convenient!
Great hotel, clean with a friendly staff and great amenities including a high quality gym which is my favorite amenity. I had a heat illness and the staff was very attentive. They checked on me multiple times throughout the day to ensure I was recovering. They told me to reach out and ask if I needed anything even though I was renting a private residence within the hotel. Would highly recommend this hotel.
The hotel, lobby, pool areas are beautiful! Our room was very nice, but not spectacular. The bathroom was very spacious which was great. The restaurants were wonderful, but extremely expensive! In fact, I don’t think we have ever paid more. Coffee/Bakery very nice.
There is a very Vegas club vibe/party atmosphere, NOT the most family friendly.
The signs say resort apparel. That must now mean thong with sheer coverup?
The front desk staff was very rude.
Overall beautiful property, glad we came, but not sure we will return.
I’m here on vacation and so far my stay has been less than pleasant. First of all there is no self parking, only valet parking which is $67 a night. That’s is truly a rip off. The staff that is doing the valet parking are kinda rude. They act like I’m bothering them when I asked a simple question. Then I got charged a $600 security deposit and the room is subpar. When I first walked in the room I noticed it was small for the price they charged and so was the bathroom. I’ve been in cheaper hotels that have bigger rooms and bathrooms. The icing on the cake for me was the fact that the frig was filled up with stuff you have to pay for so there is nowhere to put leftovers and there is no microwave. That’s just indirectly saying y’all don’t want food in the room. Over all I will not be coming back. I felt like I wasted money.
- The Fountain Blue, once a beacon of prestige, is in need of rejuvenation.
- a decline in the overall condition of the property.
- Customer service has unfortunately fallen short of expectations, with reports of rudeness and slow service.
- The expansive pool, while impressive in size, requires attention and renovation to restore its allure.
- Elevators are in need of maintenance and modernization to ensure smooth guest experiences.
- To reclaim its former status, the hotel may consider adjusting room rates to align with enhanced quality and service standards.
- A comprehensive renovation plan could breathe new life into the property, elevating both aesthetics and functionality.
- A fresh approach to staffing, including thorough training and perhaps restructuring, could revitalize the guest experience and uphold the hotel's esteemed reputation.
I have been at this hotel at least 4 times with my parents. The last time we went - this past week, I felt so many things could have been better if they care more about the hospitality than the money. To go to the beach, now it is charged $25 dollars to get umbrellas - it is the own hotel chairs and umbrellas. Moreover, since the hotel was full, we also had a hard time at the pool. With the amount of chairs being less than what the hotel has capacity for their guests, we looked for a place to sit for at least 35 minutes. After I found a place to sit - a chair, I once asked for the towels and an umbrella since it was at least 87F. Once again, we had to wait for it, which was fine if it was for 5 minutes staining on the sun and not 15/20 - since the people that work at the pool could only say there were no availability and could not do anything. - while there were many chairs with no guests and only with towels. After that, my family and I had to do the “hard work” to look for an umbrella since my uncle who was more than 60 years old could not stay at the sun. The good things was the cleaning, the pool bar (the music was amazing with live music) the breakfast was good as well! I am so disappointed since it was my family favorite place to stay everything time we come to Miami.
Thank you, and I hope this can help the next guests with any concerns :)
The experience at the hotel is just amazing! There is so much going on and the hotel has so many restaurants to choose from. I am certain the pool area is one of the best in Miami. The vibe everyday was on point, the hotel smelt amazing anywhere you went and was relatively clean. A big shout out to Jonathan(manager), English, Benji, Brooklyn, Tomas( Fresh cafe) & Tasha for their great service and hospitality.|My only feedback would be to update the rooms in the main building and that some of the linen used on the bedsheets was abit worn. Also upon arrival there should be concierge staff that should assist with luggage especially for a hotel of this stature.Other than that I had a great time and can't wait to be back.
The hotel itself is beautiful. Although, quite expensive once you are on the resort itself.
Our last few days were ruined. Both my husband and I went to the Cote restaurant on resort for lunch last Wednesday. We gave our card to the waiter and payment was processed, no issue. A few hours later, we received notification from our bank of suspicious activity on our credit card. There was 2 additional separate charges of total 2000$CAD from the same restaurant at 5:30pm right before closing time. For reference, we left the restaurant @ 1:30pm. We could not believe this could happen at such a reputable hotel. We have yet to hear back from the hotel itself with the claim I put in. Very upsetting and we ultimately felt we could not trust the hotel/staff for the remainder of the trip. Do not recommend.
I am sad to write this review as I enjoyed my experience up until this point. But I feel people should be aware of this issue as it can happen to others and go unnoticed.
