Best WLM Reviews

While the rooms were lovely, clean, and well decorated we did run into some issues that negatively impacted our stay at the Flamingo.
First, information on their website is inaccurate in more ways than one. The restaurant inside named Carlos and Charlie's showed the option to call for takeout. We called and were told that all takeout orders had to be made at the bar. Even if that falls on the restaurant it then falls on the hotel as that happened in the hotel while staying there.
Another MAJOR issue is the parking. It is advertised as $20 A DAY to park a car for hotel guests and that it will be charged to the room. WRONG!!! We had to pay $20 everytime we left the garage. You were supposed to be able to use your room key to enter and exit as hotel guests but the room keys DID NOT work to enter or exit. We were also not the only guests who struggled with this as we were stopped while exiting one time by someone else asking us for help. On the day we entered and exited the garage twice, we had to pay $40.
We have yet to check the final itemized bill but we absolutely will look for parking charged to the room on top of everything we already had to pay and will dispute any charges more that the $20 per day that was advertised and agreed to.
For those reasons I DO NOT recommend the flamingo despite having an otherwise lovely stay.
Absolutely amazing!
The only issue I had is I had to wait till almost 430 to check in. At that price check in should had been ready and in time. The view from the GO floor is AMAZING best upgrade I made! They have shampoo, conditioner and body wash on the walls in the restroom(if I'd known I would have left mine at home). The availability to places was great! It is a little older hotel but over all great! The txt message for service is amazing too! Ivy definitely helped out. Will be back!
Ah, the Flamingo in Vegas, where the water issues have become a comedic staple! It's like they're trying to turn the hotel into a water-free experience, just for the thrill of it.
Imagine trying to get ready for a night out and not being able to take a shower, wash your face, or even flush the toilet! What a way to start the evening!
And the best part? When you call the front desk, they basically shrug and say, “we'll get to it eventually. In the meantime, here's a $50 credit - go buy some wet wipes or something." How thoughtful!
You expect a nice stay in a legacy hotel and instead, you end up feeling like you're living in a college dorm. At least there are beds, right? That's about the only positive they can offer.
The Flamingo - where the water issues are the norm, and the only thing flowing freely is the frustration of the poor, unsuspecting travelers. What a legacy they're building there! Bravo.
This place is an excellent choice if you aren’t going to stay in the room too much. The rooms themselves are nice but you can hear every noise that’s in the hallway. Also, the main pool for adults has construction and they direct you to other hotels in the area since the family pool barely has room. It’s in a great area on the Vegas strip, and plenty of shows are offered and excellent dining options including 24/7 service. The casino is a great place as well with a lot of variety for table games and slots. Rupauls drag race live was running and it was an excellent show to see. They also have a show X burlesque which was great for adults as well to see, with very affordable seating. They do have actual flamingos and birds outside with gorgeous backdrops for photos and to spend some time. It did smell though which was normal since they are animals. Tech room was extremely limited but they do hold your luggage and things if you arrive early or leave late before you check in/out. They do charge a fee for early check in or late check out of course. Overall services were fine, but it was unfortunate about the current construction.
So frustrated with this hotel. We arrived and they took our luggage downstairs. Get to Lobby to check in the workers could have cared less if they helped you or not. He said use the kiosk and I couldn’t get it to work he said you are too early unless you want to pay for upgrade as well as early check in. So we left came back at 4:30. Same attitude they he asked for credit card and he then tells us there is a resort fee as well as an incidental fee. Since when has then been a resort? Nothing here was anything like a resort. We can’t cancel because it is within the 24 hours and where are you going to find somewhere else to stay? So we pay it and get to our room . The room is ok nothing to brag about . But we have no one come to make beds bring fresh towels wonder what the resort fee is for. We made sure to make a picture of our room as we left so if they tried to keep our deposit for incidental we could prove they were wrong. Also we stopped for a breakfast in the hotel and got a bagel , 1 coffee and croissant. The bill was $42 . Needless to say this is the last money we will spend at the Flamingo and we will make sure none of our friends and family make the same mistake as we did by booking this hotel.
I was very nervous about selecting the Flamingo after reading all the bad reviews! However everything was perfectly fine. Front desk check in people were super friendly and helpful. We arrived very early but got into our room around 2. Yes, we paid an extra $20 for early checkin but it was worth it.|Room was on the 28th floor and we had no problems with any of the elevators. |Everything in our room worked, the bathroom had a new shower enclosure, bed was nice, the view was overlooking Bellagio and we could see the fountain show easily! |I messed up the safe and someone showed up within an hour to take care of it. |We would definitely stay here again. Location was great! ||The only thing we weren’t happy with was the high cost of everything in all of Vegas!
Very nice room, air conditioning was a bit funky and did not work great. Very nice over all. I was pleased and had a great time overall I’m very excited and hope to go back someday because I had a magical time in the birds were amazing as well thank you very much.
We booked this hotel from Germany specifically for the adults-only pool (21+). At the reception, we were assured that the pool was open. Based on this information, we planned to celebrate my husband’s birthday and our wedding anniversary, both on the same day, at the pool and intended to book events. The following day, however, we discovered that the pool had been abruptly closed. This was extremely disappointing, but no one at the hotel seemed to take our concerns seriously. Despite the closure, it was still possible to book events online for the upcoming days, even though a sign at the pool stated that it would remain closed for the entire season. It feels as though something occurred that was not disclosed to guests.
For us, this was particularly frustrating, as we had booked this hotel all the way from Germany with this specific amenity in mind. The staff's indifference extended beyond the pool issue—when we requested housekeeping, our requests were ignored until I personally spoke to a member of the cleaning team, who eventually provided fresh towels and cleaned the room. Unfortunately, the front desk staff showed no interest in addressing the issue.
I have already emailed management regarding our experience, but as of now, I have received no response. While we will undoubtedly return to Las Vegas, we will not be staying at the Flamingo Hotel again. I strongly advise anyone traveling from Germany to consider other accommodations. Proceed with caution!
