Large casino, clean, roomie, and large selection of slots and Table games with a good range of betting options. There are some dining options. We ate at the Smoke N Fire restaurant, we had ribs and the brisket sandwich. The ribs were good but the sandwich was difficult to eat. Extremely fatty and greasy. At times it was like a lard sandwich. Very disappointing cause what meat I could scrape together would have been good. I thought a dessert would give me some satisfaction, but was wrong. It was supposed to be a brownie explosion with ice cream. It came as a cast iron skillet with heated brownie mix and ice cream on top. It was the very rare time we had to complain and the manager was called with the response that it was a very moist cake to which I responded that it was not even baked , it’s just the batter! He offered to take it off the bill. Not I’m sorry, I will talk to the cook or get you one properly made. Looking at our reviews you will not see a complaint on this level.
We love going to Firekeepers Hotel. The rooms are large, well appointed, great showers, and extremely clean.
The Casino is bright, machines are well spaced, and there is an excellent variety of old & new school slots with many denominations.
Stayed here Aug. 4th-6th while attending a conference for work. The set up of the room was really nice. A nice big screen TV and tablet by the bed for ordering and setting an alarm. Did not figure out how to use the separate alarm clock on the night stand. Carpets need to be cleaned.or replaced and drapes had a few stains on it. Bed was comfortable and bathroom was very spacious with a private section for the toilet. Excellent, friendly security and front desk staff. The elevators are very fast. Overall it was a nice stay.
Casino is Chuck E. Cheese for gen-xers who miss Chuck E Cheese. Seating was a joke for the event that I saw which was Nikki Glaser. It's just a conference room. You can't see anything from 30 rows back. They did have two TVs that I could have seen from home. The staff was hit or miss, but consistent. One would be nice and then the next one would not. They did have a highly overpriced tho. Let's just say it's not the commercial.
My hubby and I went this week and the king room was fine until my hubby wanted coffee. Well the pot hasn’t been cleaned in awhile. But housekeeping has the nerve to leave a scan for a tip. As I told my hubby, I ALWAYS take the linen off the bed b/c I hear how hotels don’t sometimes change the bed, clean the shower or coffee pots.
I love this casino. I have never had a bad night in all the years I have been coming here. I don't visit often because of how far I am, but I wish I could visit at least once a month.
Great place to visit/stay! The atmosphere and vibe of the casino are great. We had only good encounters with all staff we spoke with. They also do have a very nice open/clean poker room with about 30-40 poker tables(only a handful for the cash games were in use on visit).
HIGHLY RECOMMEND The Fireplace Suites BTW! Very open and comfortable.
I'll definitely come back to visit and play some poker!!
