My partner and I stayed in the RV park across the street for a week. The park itself is fine. Bathrooms were very clean. There’s a nice dog park. We liked our spot and it had a nice view.|That’s where the good stuff ends.|The casino itself is a mess. First of all, it smells so bad in there. Like a combination of cigarette smoke and farts. |The food is awful. We tried the buffet and it was truly terrible. The best part of it was the salad. Our waitress was nice too. The rest was inedible. |We tried a few of the bars. Terrible service at every one of them. The bartenders are so rude and unfriendly. (In fact no one that works there seems particularly happy. But the bartenders were the worst.) We ordered two margaritas at one of them (the nice bar overlooking the river). Paid $15 for them and it was all sour mix. No tequila in there at all. We left them untouched and walked out. |There is a pool that is supposed to be heated and they claim that it is but it is freezing cold. I was cold in that pool and it was 90 degrees outside. Only went once the whole week.|The only nice thing I can really say about this place is the vintage car museum on the 3rd floor. Cool cars and the people that worked up there were actually very friendly. A welcome change from the rest of the casino. I would not come here again and do not recommend it.
I'm always amazed how smokey it is in this casino having to walk through. Even the bowling alley was filled with cigarette smoke which is crazy since it's seems like a family style resort sort of. Movies were good. Comfy chairs and nice sound.
I decided to take my husband for his birthday to Don Laughlin Riverside resort and hotel when we checked In and we went directly to the room to make sure everything was as is we noticed as checking the beds one of the beds there was hair and a dirty pillow case so my husband decided to check the other bed where we found a bug we notified front desk and they said that they had to send up security security security came and took a report and then just change it to another room where we found spider webs and my husband went back to pull the curtain to see the water view and moths were flying around we also contact the front desk regarding this also front desk did nothing they kept telling me that I needed to call the claims department which one I did call claims department they told me I had to check out of the hotel and then they will talk to me within 14 days which is already been passed the 14 days and no one's reached out to me. I was not happy that my husband had to try to kill moths and had to experience this on his birthday. I did take pictures but for some reason it won't let me upload it this was May 29 ,2024
Bowl here every year for our league. The arcade is fantastic for children. An adult only & family friendly pool. Good food choices. On the water, easy access to water taxi. Only thing is the beds are too hard & uncomfortable.
We love sitting on the balcony in the early morning to greet a new day. Hard to do if there are no chairs!. Two things also stood out....they seem to have an air freshener that pumps thru the AC system. It's a cheap smell and would give me a stuffy nose. Next, in all our travels, I have never complained about the bed (mattress) we slept in. Let's face it, it won't be as comfortable as your own. But this bed was awful. The side of the bed was so broken down, I kept sliding to the edge and was in danger of slipping off. Woke up stiff and with a sore back. No restful sleep for 3
nights. We were in the North Tower and was told all the rooms were renovated. Not!
Stayed here for 1 night over memorial weekend. Had a really nice room and the casino is your average casino. Only had pizza from the restaurant but it was amazing.
It was okay. Staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were not that clean and there were a lot of moths and other bugs inside. We did get a nice view of the river and had a balcony. The place is a little outdated but overall not too bad.
This entire place (hotel, casino, restaurants) needs a much needed overhaul. the place is horrible. Dirty outdated rooms, outdated casino. This was the place we always went to gamble and still do as relatives like to go there because of perks they get. We don't like it and often go by ourselves just so we don't have to go here. I have never won anything at this casino as many times as we have gone. I suspect Laughlin will die a slow death because of all the outdated hotels and casinos. It used to be nice.
