Best WLM Reviews

I recently stayed here and we loved it! Of course everyone was friendly because it’s Disney but there was one woman working in the shop who was great and gave us some tips, so shout out to her.
The location is good, easy to drive into and bus access to the parks, and it’s very scenic.
The best part was the room. We needed a disability accessible room and it didn’t disappoint. It was easy to get to, in and out of with scooters. It is a bit tight so will fit 2 smaller scooters but probably not two large ones. The bathroom was also great because it has a walk in shower with a floor drain and fold down shower seat. The accessibility was better than expected.
Very happy with this hotel and would definitely go back. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The staff was nice and helpful. The resort was calm and quiet, but there were still activities for kids. The main pool had good music was water spouts all over to fulfill the river theme. Most importantly for us, everyone was very welcoming of our dog and we found this hotel to be very dog friendly.
We chose this hotel because it's close to Disney parks and pet friendly. Rooms are smaller that we thought, comfortable. I wish it had a microwave. Conditions for bringing our little dog included to keep it in the room, pets are not allowed on the bus. There are no trash cans around the room where you can put your pet poop, I walked a lot looking for it. The pool was clean and fun. I think it's a decent hotel, a little pricey for what they offer. I didn't see any staff person around in 3 days
Beautiful location and friendly staff. Beds were not the most comfortable. Rooms were nice. The grounds were very nice. The folks at the check in were great, housekeeping was great and the grounds keepers were great as well. My wife and I enjoyed walking around the grounds. The rooms were quiet and did not here much from people passing by outside. The only noise we heard was from the room above and it's plumbing.
I had never stayed at a Disney resort in the past, and I am glad that this was our first experience. We stayed in the Alligator Bayou part of the resort, in a 5th sleeper, double queen room.
The room was ready earlier than we expected which was great since we did get there a bit earlier than check in time. We wanted to get in earlier since we brought my pet and we wanted to take a break and relax for a bit.
Our room was so clean and smelled so good when we got inside. The beds and pillows were comfortable. I like that they had different kinds of pillows, including some that were not too thick.
The whole resort is beautiful and really makes you feel like you've traveled somewhere else, outside of Florida.
We tried the quick service restaurant which was great for breakfast. Lunch was so so, but we expected this since it is only the typical quick service choices.
Overall our experience was amazing and I would love to come back once we've tried a few other Disney resort options.
Location is amazing. The rooms are a little small but comfy. Great location to all Disney Parks. Awesome Alexa in the room! Just tough stay if you are handicapped because it's such a far walk from the bus stops and parking lot to most of the rooms.
We had just spent a week at CBR and found the transfer of our luggage flawless. Bell services (at both CBR and POR) are fantastic!||We stayed in a 5th sleeper room in building 16 in Alligator Bayou. We were less than a 5 minute walk to the main facilities.||ROOM PROs: We found it to be clean, comfortable and big enough for our family to stay in for 7 nights. Our 7 year old daughter loved the pull down child's bed which was the perfect size for her! And the queen beds are sooooo comfortable.||ROOM CONs: It was a little dark, but I guess this is in part down to the more rustic styling. We were disappointed that most of the USB sockets didn't work, which was a pain for juggling recharging of phones and the kids iPads. The air conditioning unit and the overhead fan were both very noisy. We had an interconnecting door, and although it was locked, it meant we could hear a fair bit of noise from our neighbours. I know I sound like I'm being very negative about the room, but we had a split stay and had just come from a week at CBR staying in an Under the Sea room which for the same price felt far superior. I would say these rooms in Alligator Bayou are in need of renovation.||Despite the room not being the best, every other aspect of our week at POR was incredible and I would 100% stay here again. ||The overall resort is stunning. The grounds are so well maintained, it really is such a relaxing, beautiful place to just walk around and soak it all in. The main pool area is great for families. It is well maintained, clean and has plenty of lifeguards on duty. We were always able to get sun loungers with shade. The quick serve restaurant is great with a good selection of 'safe' and more adventurous options. We loved taking the relaxing boat to DIsney Springs, and this is a huge perk of staying here.||We loved our week at POR and would definitely stay here again. Finally, the cast members throughout are incredible!
Absolutely beautiful resort! It's in a nice wooded area with lots of water and nature, and you definitely don't feel like you're in downtown Orlando! Beautiful rooms with great wooded views and lots of pools. The buildings are a bit spread out, so there is quite a a lot of walking involved to get to the main building, bus stop, etc. We will stay here every time!
