Beautiful property!!!! Typical Disney quality!!! The grounds were well manicured and very inviting. The Kona restaurant was good food, but nothing to write home about. Limited menu, but traditional Asian fare. The waitstaff was friendly and engaging. They really seemed to enjoy customer interactions. Thank you for an excellent experience
We loved this resort! Feels like a tropical getaway. The white sand beach and beautiful view of the water and magic Kingdom make optimal watching the fireworks. Customer service is amazing, so accommodating and kind! I recommend staying club level if you can. Great food and lounge!
This was a dream stay for my husband. The ceremony house smells so dang good. I wish I could bottle it up. Everybody was so friendly. It's such a convenient spot for ALL transportation. We will stay here again, I know that for a fact. Every penny was worth it
An absolute must for stitch lovers!!! We cannot express how amazing this was. From the atmosphere, the staff, fantastic food, and the characters a total 10/10 experience!!
We enjoyed a plant based menu, seeing both Lilo & Stitch, Mickey, and Pluto.
The food was well seasoned, and the stitch waffles were adorable. Most eat their potatoes!
Our family enjoyed it so much that we can’t wait for our next breakfast with our favorite characters!!
We stayed at this hotel for one-night only because we were traveling to Daytona to stay the long weekend with friends. Our goal was to have a little Disney fun without a theme park experience and it was accomplished! We got there on a Thursday morning around 11:30am and our room was available for check-in (which was great to dump off our bags and freshen up after a long flight). Our kids (ages 5 & 8) thoroughly enjoyed the pool areas - both the water playground and the slide... it kept them busy the entire afternoon. My only wish was that there were better food options. However, we are pretty traditional eaters and don't branch out much, so some of the themed food was not appealing to my family. We ordered Flipper's Pizza for delivery that evening which was very yummy! The best part of the stay was that you have a tremendous view of the Magic Kingdom nightly fireworks over the lagoon!
This resort is okay. My problem is the rooms lack any sound proofing. We’ve been woken up every morning by kids screaming in the halls or staff arguing with each other right outside our door. For this price point it would have been more worth it to stay in a private Airbnb off property
My husband and I were looking forward to trying out our first ever Disney resort and decided to go all out and stay at their luxury resort, The Polynesian. Unfortunately nothing about this hotel is luxury. Is is a nice hotel? Yes! But the convenience to Disney parks and dining is the only thing “luxurious” about it. The rooms are well decorated, but tiny and they only have queen beds, the mini fridges don't work well, our sink was clogged our entire stay, we found bugs in our room every single night (mostly in the shower ????), the walls are THIN (we were woken up by excited little kids every morning at 5/6am), the bellhop had a terrible attitude - he was visibly annoyed to be helping us and broke our luggage so we didn't bother using the service when we checked out. Also, there were always huddles of employees around the property just chatting away with each other and in one area by our building, they would all sit and smoke. I felt like I was at a motel. When we arrived they gave us leis but you have to request a map of the hotel and ask about any entertainment or events going on - usually at luxury resorts they provide that at check-in so I was surprised they didn't do that here. We realized that you have a 50/50 shot at getting a kind employee if you need to ask about anything, I will say all the housekeeping ladies were incredible and so insanely kind. I just loved them. The pool is super cool and you can see the fireworks from Magic Kingdom perfectly. Anyway, I just don't think the convenience warrants paying almost $900/night when they are lacking in so many other areas. They really should just call it a “Disney Premier Location Hotel” because that's really what you are paying for, plus early park access (but you can't go on any rides or even get in line for rides until 9am so I’m not really sure what the point of early access is?) Anyway, its a nice hotel, but I won't be staying at a Disney resort again after this experience. Just not worth the price.
This is a beautiful place. It was our first time staying here, and they truly made every minute of our stay magical. From the moment I entered, I was warmly greeted right away. Check-in was seamless. I was surprised I was checked in with a tablet instead of a person behind the counter. The lady who checked me in even provided me with tips for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween event. She had originally greeted me by saying,"Welcome Home." It was my first time here, but I wouldn't mind calling it home. She provided me with leis and 1st time buttons.
We walked into our room, and it was breathtaking. The room was simple and comfy... it sure felt like home. Our room was on the first floor, and we were literally a few steps away from the volcano pool.
Honestly, the resort itself was relaxing. You can literally just hang out, walk around, do some shopping, grab some food, and chill. They had movie night and all sorts of activities. Having dole whip (Pineapple Lanai) close by totally made my day/ every night. All the food we had here was yummy and had you stuffed.. ready to take a nap. All areas of the resort were clean and well kept. I never would've known this place has been here since 1971!
Having stayed here was perfect and convenient for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween event. The monorail was literally at the main building. The 2nd floor is super convenient.
The staff at all levels were super nice and always provided service with a smile. Highly recommend this place. I'm already planning my next trip back.????????????
