I recently stayed at The contemporary resort and overall, my experience was quite pleasant. The hotel itself is beautiful, and the room I stayed in was both clean and spacious, providing a comfortable and relaxing environment.
However, there are a few areas where the hotel could improve. The gym, while equipped with the basics, is in need of some maintenance. Several machines were out of order, and it could benefit from more regular upkeep. Additionally, the hotel lacks healthy food options, which was disappointing for someone trying to maintain a balanced diet while traveling.
Another point of concern is the room service schedule. Room cleaning happens at specific times, and if you miss it, you might have to go without cleaning for the day. It would be more convenient if they offered a more flexible cleaning schedule to accommodate guests' varying plans.
Despite these issues, my stay was enjoyable.
Everything about this resort is exceptional, the cleanliness, the staff, the decor and service were amazing. We had something tragic happen while staying at this resort and they went above and beyond to make our stay very comfortable and compassionate. The housekeepers made up the room with us in the room which was great, they do wellness checks everyday which I think is great. The pool area looked like a blast, we walked on the beach part and sat in a bungalow type furniture and it was peaceful. Overall food superb, staff excellent, Cafe had great coffee, rooms very clean and well maintained, great resort for the price you pay.
Excellent location, great view of Magic Kingdom and fireworks (you can play music for Happily Ever After on the TV in the room). Very clean and comfortable. Easy process for transferring luggage and ordering groceries. Will stay here every time we go to Magic Kingdom, provided we have the budget.
Pool is fun, sandy beach area, splash pad kept kids busy and relaxed after long days in the park.
This hotel is very impressive. Everything looks clean and new. Even the complementary toiletries are above average. The hotel connects to the Contemporary via an outdoor bridge on the 4th floor (5th floor at the Contemporary), for convenient access to the monorail. We actually saw the Magic Kingdom fireworks from our hotel room on the 3rd floor. The kids loved the water slide in the pool. The staff was very friendly. Another bonus: we were able to get groceries delivered from the local Publix to use in the fully functional kitchen. The only amenity lacking was USB ports to charge electronics (hotel claims they have them, but they don't).
I came here as part of a group that had a conference at this resort. I didn't stay in the rooms so I can't speak to that part of the facility. I was not an organizer of the event but a volunteer.
As a conference location it was very nice. Very spacious. Staff was very accommodating. Everything was clean and in working order as best as I could tell. Bathrooms were clean and well stocked.
There were some communication failures concerning parking and transportation the first day but it got worked out by the second day.
There's a coffee shop on the first floor where you can also get some good selections of hot tea and smoothies. This was a popular spot especially if you're arriving for meetings very early in the morning or if you have to be there all day.
Breakfast one morning involved Mickey Mouse waffles. That was very delightful. Best part.

But wow! The resort was so cool, I enjoyed the aesthetic walking in and the monorail coming into the middle of the resort with the stores all around was just wild. Definitely felt like something out of the future. Everything seemed clean and nice, I could see my family staying here next time we come to Disney.
What an amazing stay! We were able to check in early, drop off our luggage and walk to Magic Kingdom. It was awesome to be able to hop on the monorail or walk to Magic Kingdom. Every cast member we encountered was top notch. To watch the fireworks from our balcony and lay in bed and see Cinderella's Castle from the window was simply magical. It was such a blessing to stay here!
We stayed theme park view two nights on the 10th floor and then club level one night. The rooms were great and the club level experience was very nice. All the staff were amazing. Thanks to Presley & Kelly for the great service. There are some things I would maybe add as perks to club level, but that would be a change for Disney to make.
We really enjoyed how close this resort is to Magic Kingdom, the on site dinning options and being on the monorail line.
