We a great stay at Carribean Beach over the summer. We had a fifth sleeper room in the Aruba building right next to the skyliner stop. Location was so convenient for transportation with both the skyliner and bus stop a few mins from our room. ||We also really enjoyed the amenities including the drink refill station in our building. The pool was amazing we spent the first few hours we were there before our room was ready swimming and relaxing at the pool my boys had a blast on the water slides we also got a large cheese pizza at the main restaurant in the lobby and it was affordable and really tasty. ||Room was really clean and comfortable even for a family of five. Whenever we needed anything it only took a quick phone call to housekeeping and they brought it over super quick.||The grounds were beautiful my son really enjoyed laying on the hammocks on the beach area and I just loved the plant life throughout the property . We will 100 percent come to stay here again on our next Disney world trip.
We have stayed at Caribbean Beach several times and continue to love this hotel. It has only gotten better with the addition of the Skyliner, which makes it so convenient to get to EPCOT and Hollywood Studios.||The rooms are all we need for our Disney visit, which generally involves little time in the room. We had the standard twin queen with a 5th sleeper (which is more than enough room for my wife and I). The beds and pillows are excellent and so comfortable! ||The bathroom has your basic amenities, and my wife liked the quality of the shampoo and conditioner. The shower water pressure is great and can help you feel better if you are tired after a long park day! Having the sinks outside the shower and toilet makes for quick getting ready.||We were in Aruba which is very close to the Riviera Skyliner stop - direct service to EPCOT. With a bit more of a walk in the other direction you get to the Caribbean Beach stop for direct service to Hollywood Studios. It is a bit of a walk to Port Royale, but that isn't an issue for us (and the walk is very pretty).||I'll take off a 1/2 star for two items:|1) The energy-saving HVAC won't get the room lower than 68F. That is not a very comfortable sleeping temperature for us. Thankfully there is a ceiling fan, which did help.|2) No elevators to the 2nd floor.
Family of 5. Wanted mid tier as we hardly spend time in the rooms. Room was small but utilization of space was great. This was perfect! Checking was SUPER friendly and fast!! Very close to the gondolas for Hollywood/Epcot and bus for MK/rest of the parks. Bus trip slightly longer than expected but that is a pure first world complaint! Convenient food (early in the am before you go). Will aim to stay same place next year!
What's not to like about a Disney resort? The aerial trams were handy and nearby, the food choices were great and reasonable and the service was too notch. Everyone was friendly. I didn't give the resort a 5-star review mostly for the fact the resort is showing its age in areas and the rooms were set up more like cruise ship rooms. I get the room thing as it just makes sense to stick with a certain theme and setup but for the price, I would love to see a better and bigger bathroom. It was small and dated. The room was not as clean as you'd expect from Disney. There were several layers of dust on the lights that swung out from the head post. The shelving next to the beds clearly hadn't been wiped off as there were two rubber bands for someone's braces. The pillowcases had worn as well. I don't expect perfection, but I expect more out of a Disney resort than what I can get out of a standard hotel room. The main pool area was neat, there is a height LIMIT, on the splash pad so my 8-year-old was bummed BUT the rest was fun. What the rooms lacked was made up for by staff. Transportation around the area was easy. An internal shuttle takes you around every 20 minutes. Shuttles to other parks are much more frequent.
These rooms are perfect for families with children or a great sharing room. The rooms are not in the main hotel. It sleeps 5. Bathroom are small and water pressure is bad. We got a room on second floor. No elevators. Rooms have a small fridge and safe. No daily room service. Beds are not very comfy. One queen bed. One queen Murphy and a single Murphy for a child. Disney buses are convenient and early park entrance. Connecting rooms available.
Rooms are painfully small. You will be crammed in here. Request an under the sea room because they are the newly renovated rooms, still small but nice. The laundry room is way better than at the Grand Floridian, there are plenty of washers and dryers. The pools are nice. Cast members are all really nice and helpful. Bus stations are right there. No elevator so if you are on the second floor you will be carrying your luggage up the stairs. No refrigerator in the rooms, just a "drink chiller" which looks like a refrigerator, but doesn't get very cold.
Incredible resort. Amazing staff. Awesome pool! Rooms were great. Food was delicious. Having food plan made things especially easy. And the 20-something $ bottomless cup you can buy is totally worth the one time purchase fee.
We started off the trip having to wait over an hour and half in the lobby for our room to be ready. The room itself was okay but extremely small for our family of 5. I called to ask for water bottles delivered to our room and they told us no - I had to walk down to the lobby each time my wife and kids needed something to drink and refill these cups they provided for us. The pull out bed was pretty much useless and felt very dangerous for our 6 year old to sleep in so we had her sleep with us. For what we pay to come here I just would have expected a little more.
The dining plan is really what made us decide to likely never come back to Caribbean Beach or Disney World in general. We used up all our points within 3 days of our 7 day stay so it’s really just a waste of money and was not explained very well. We had a dining plan in 2019 and had no problems, but I assume they changed it after Covid. So now with 4 days left in our trip I can likely expect a $2,000 + bill at the end of our stay for food I assumed we prepaid for with the dining plan.
