Best WLM Reviews

Disney offers so many amazing options for on-site hotels and truly you cannot go wrong. We’ve stayed at every place from All-Star Sports which keeps us in budget and still gives us the convenience of on-site Disney amenities, to the Grand Floridian where everyone feels like royalty. However, I must say the BoardWalk Hotel is the place I enjoy most and prioritize staying at every chance I get. The Boardwalk has a beautiful atrium that takes you back in time with its decor and has an incredible view of the lake. Their rooms are beautiful and can fit entire families very comfortably. The staff will make you feel like family and that no request is too big or too small for them to handle. Their pool has one of the best slides for kids and a bar area that will make any parent happy after a long day at the park. Their pool is surrounded by a fence for safety, has many lifeguards, and isn’t as overwhelming or winding as other pools which makes us far more comfortable with smaller children. They always have fun events on their great lawn and even more exciting shows all making the boardwalk. What we love most about this hotel is its convenience to TWO parks, the endless restaurant options surrounding it, and our ability to visit other nearby hotels such as the Dolphin or Yacht Club for their restaurants and activities as well. The second floor bar area has a wonderful terrace that feels more like a Speak Easy than a Disney bar. Staying close to Magic Kingdom has its perks, but walking back to your room after visiting Hollywood Studios or Epcot is even better.
Everything other than the room and housekeeping was Great. Housekeeping called to “inspect the room” after 16 hours of getting there(weird) because the do not disturb was on the door, we could not understand the lady on the phone because we were at Epcot. Bathroom had black mold and the tub would not drain. When we called service they came out quickly which was nice however they couldn’t fix the issue said they had to get a plumber out which was fine then they never showed up our entire 5 day stay. Then the next day when house cleaning came to clean our room the 2nd day the lady was very unhappy with her job and was not friendly. Everything and everyone else was great, friendly, and professional.
Great location, wonderful shops and restaurants on the boardwalk and easy access to the parks! The rooms are nice. Only downside was the check in process. We waited an hour past our check in time because they were fixing the curtain rod and didn't communicate that with the front desk team. It caused us to be late to the after hours party. They were very nice once they realized we had been waiting so long though.
They simply made our 2 day trip magical. Very nice clean room. Never experienced such great customer service from every single employee. Great access to EPCOT, mature golf and food. If you don't like this place then your expectations are ridiculous. Great job Disney Boardwalk.! It is a little pricey but I did get what I paid for.
Boardwalk is in a great location. We used it as a base for a conference happening at Swan/Dolphin. Took about 8 minutes to Dolphin and I'm not a fast walker. The proximity to Epcot can't be beat. We walked there several times for the food/wine festival. The boats are also an option but we didn't feel like waiting to snag one.|The Boardwalk hotel is clean and more upscale than the other resorts I have stayed in. There were a lot of high quality sit-down restaurants nearby. |I was disappointed by the lack of places to fill up a resort mug. You have to go outside and down to the Deli for this option. Perhaps they don't expect guests at a higher quality hotel to want that option? I personally look to save some money where I can and love the beverage refills. |The Boardwalk had some quick service options out on the Boardwalk itself. This included pizza, deli, corn dogs, etc. |The quiet pools were just that and a fantastic place to relax. |If you don't mind having less of the character theming and plan to do sit down meals this could be a great choice for you. The garden suites looked amazing with their little fenced off areas.
We love the Boardwalk and have stayed here many times but we had a truly disturbing experience with housekeeping. My wife was nursing/napping our 1 year old baby when a man barged in against our will. She kept saying "please stop! Go away! Do not come in!" We requested to not be disturbed prior, yet they completely disregarded our wishes and barged in on our sleeping child while my wife was not fully clothed! They also called our room phone while the baby was sleeping! I come to find out that Disney has a room check policy now, where they can enter any room at any time despite your wishes for privacy. They don't even disclose this information clearly and openly before you book the reservation. So you pay an exorbitant amount of money and we can't even feel safe or have a moment of privacy at a disney resort any more. Bad job Disney. If you want to have the right to enter any room at any time regardless of the customer's wishes, the least you can do is make this apparent beforehand. Truly violating experience.
Close walking location to EPCOT. Hotel was quiet; comfy beds, clean and tidy. Staff excellent to deal with. Leisure pool very quiet. We stayed 5 nights Sep 2024. Trattoria Restaurant on the Boardwalk had the most delicious meals. Dined their twice. Shout out to Marco!!
The Boardwalk is in a great location and within an easy bus or boat ride of all the Disney parks. The rooms are not as posh as one would expect for the price you pay — feels very much like a 3 star hotel, nothing like a luxury hotel. Our room was not ready until after 4 pm, so that was an inconvenience. All in all, I’d give it a solid B. We’ve liked the Swan and Dolphin in the past and I might prefer those for our next visit to WDW.
