I want to be fair here, so I'll start with the positives. The check in and out was smooth and there were plenty of staff manning the front desk area throughout our stay. Our t.v in the room broke the first day, we reported it the next day, but no one came to fix it during the next 3 days. The housekeeping brought extra towels and blankets as requested and the location was convenient to get to the parks. Now, the negatives. The restaurant had pretty pricey items like $5 pack of 10 grapes and the staff there moved like sloths. It was very disappointing to get a hot plate and then have it cold by the time you got through the register line to eat. That service was horrible. The room was fine, the transportation was fine, the atmosphere was family friendly. The restaurant needs real help. For the price of the resort, the experience didn't match. Next time I would pick a different resort.
Had a really good experience at this hotel. We were relocated here from All Star Music after a few issues, so I was really hoping it would be a safe & clean place to sleep.
It was! We really enjoyed the lobby, food area, and walking the resort itself. The skyliner was so fun to ride around at night before going to our room. The only thing that loses a star for me is that the exterior room doors (little mermaid building) made it feel dingy and the curtain dividing the bed area from the sink area felt like something that would never get cleaned ???? would not recommend the 2 bed mermaid rooms for a family larger than 4. We had 2 adults and 1 child, and it was fine! Oh and the shuttles were quick and pretty empty each time we used one
The hotel was nice, we had 3 adults and 3 kids and it was just enough to fit us all. If you love a themed hotel, then this one is definitely perfect, we stayed in the Cars building and the kids loved the Cars models all around. We stayed because of the convenience of having the Skyliner to take us to the parks which was a lot of fun. Overall it was a decent hotel. The only thing I will say is it isn't great if you have a huge family, there are definitely much bigger and nice non Disney suites around that give more bang for your buck, but the convenience and proximity to Disney parks was definitely great.
Our family had the pleasure of staying at Disney's Art of Animation Resort from November 29 through December 2, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience! From the moment we arrived, the friendly and welcoming staff made us feel right at home. Every cast member we encountered went above and beyond to ensure our stay was magical.
The cleanliness of the rooms was impeccable. It was clear that a lot of care goes into maintaining the resort, which made us feel comfortable and relaxed throughout our stay. The creative Disney-themed decor in the rooms added a touch of whimsy that we all enjoyed, especially our daughter!
One of the highlights of staying here was the seamless transportation to the Disney parks. The Disney Skyliner was a game-changer for convenience, offering a scenic and fun ride to Epcot and Hollywood Studios. The buses to Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom were frequent and efficient, making it so easy to maximize our time at the parks.
We highly recommend the Art of Animation Resort for families looking for a vibrant and convenient place to stay during their Disney vacation. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!
We stayed at this hotel last week and they were amazing! We were able to upgrade our room upon arrival, our room was ready early before check in time and we were able to get a late check out. The rooms were extremely clean. The staff was so accommodating and very friendly. The pool was awesome and the kids loved it. I am so happy with our stay!
First time staying at the resort, I loved seeing all the character statues, the magic never ends. The rooms are clean, water is strong. The only issue was the bed, it hurt my back. Other than that the location is perfect, shuttles are clean and on time. The skyline is also a plus. The staff is very friendly and the food is also good. I will definitely be coming back and I’ll be recommending this resort to others.
Excellent hotel for Disney lovers. We had a fantastic 16 nights here with our 16 year old boys.|We had the quick servce dinning plan, which was really conveient with teenagers.|We had the unlimited refill mugs, again very conveient with teenagers.|We had one of the larger suites, two bathrooms. There was plenty of space for 4 of us.||Only downside would be the lack of variety on the menu. If you stay for a week, no problems, but 16 nights and it gets very repetitive.||Plenty of parking.||Little kitchenette with a fridge (handy for drinks).||As we rented a car, it was easy for us to get to all the parks and other activites we wanted to do. If you don;t have a car, no problems as there are plenty of free ways to get to the parks.
This is our second time to Disney. We booked this somewhat last minute and decided to stay at Art of Animation as the cost was more favorable than other Disney properties and it still had skyliner access which we loved. We stayed in the little mermaid section for 4 nights and did 3 park days. Our room was small but clean and so cutely decorated and themed. It wasn’t a terrible walk to the animation hall. We did the pools in our area and the Nemo section and we loved both. Food hall had good options I felt. Gift shop was good. Arcade looked cool, although we didn’t do it. Now to the skyliner access: plan for about an hour to get to the parks doing that at minimum as you have to wait in a fairly long line to get on and you’re sharing the skyliner with neighboring Pop Century. We had previously stayed at Caribbean Beach and hadn’t experienced those waits previously so that to us was the downside but it’s not that big a deal. The week of Labor Day is a good time to go crowd wise but I won’t lie…the heat is no joke so prepare! We’d definitely stay here again and enjoyed our stay
