Best WLM Reviews

This is easily one of the best Disney resorts. It is very clean and the staff is attentive and kind. House keeping comes by everyday to take trash and if you give them a call they will come by with whatever you need. The pool area is very well maintained and refreshed all day everyday.
The animal are out all day everyday. They can be viewed from several areas and are very well maintained.
The hotel activities were so fun and priced well for all to enjoy. The gift shop has everything you need that you may have forgotten at home.
Book this hotel for your Disney trip you will not be disappointed.
Our stay at kidani village was incredible. The villa was clean, well decorated and functional.
All of the Staff here went above and beyond for us and were very kind.
The Savannah room view had a great view. Loved being able to open the blinds to see the animals.
10/10 will be back
We stayed here in August of last year for a week! It was such an amazing experience, having animals at the lodge, the amazing wood crafter sit by the gift shop. The staff were amazing, the room was really nice. Loved not having to rent a car as transportation to the parks was included! Definitely would stay here again!
5 night stay in mid may, family of 3. We were so impressed with this resort! The lobby is gorgeous and the staff are all so friendly and helpful. Loved being able to view the animals and the grounds are so pretty at night. ||Pros:|Beds are super comfortable|Requested a room near the lobby and got one in the main building|Good quickservice food options (Mara) handled my food allergies well|10/10 for ambiance, really felt like we were in Africa|Entire resort smells amazing|Resort felt like an additional disney attraction, wish we'd had more time to explore||Cons:|Price- We were able to book this at a significant discount, normal rates are ridiculous|-While we loved the convenience of having a lobby room, it was noisy at times, still slept fine though (with earplugs and a sound machine)|-The room is nothing special, it was very clean and plenty of storage but with the high cost of the rooms, I kinda expected more luxury |-It is far from most of the parks (except AK), this isn't a real issue for us as we rent a car but something to be aware of.
What a unique hotel experience! We loved seeing the animals as we drank our morning coffee on our balcony! Libby was stunning, cast members were friendly (as always) and room was immaculate! The pool was nice and relaxing, everything was so well themed. We will be back!
I really do enjoy it. I do understand the lighting and such, but I wish the lights were more natural than the yellow/orange tint they have going. The wallpaper in the halls is so old it's taped up with Scotch tape in many spots, and peeling in many others. There's a lot of updates that probably need done, but it's still an amazing resort worth the visit.
I had a wonderful time at the resort. The animal encounters and character dining were particularly enjoyable. While the rooms may be considered basic for the price, the overall experience of the resort makes up for it. After all, if you're spending most of your time in your room, you're missing out on all the amazing things the resort has to offer.
I lucked out big time!
As a Florida resident, I don't often stay at a Walt Disney resort because I live within driving distance of the parks. However, I was attending a conference this week at the Beach & Yacht Club Center and booked kind of late, so my hotel reservation was shifted to the Animal Kingdom Lodge - boy, was I excited!
There are two sides of the Lodge, and I was in "Jamba" house, and I even had a view of part of the wildlife area.
Starting with check-in, everyone was super friendly. Matthew, my tour host, explained everything about options to wristband my stay or go "old school" with a key card (which is what I opted for given my reason for being there), and was just super knowledgeable about the restaurants, their hours of operation, and the resort as a whole.
The rooms are precisely what one would expect at a Disney resort, by that I mean - attention to detail and ensuring everything about it is themed appropriately. The headboards, the table and chairs, even the welcome message on the television screen were all lodgesque.
It may seem silly to make a fuss over the quality of the hairdryer in the room, but I am about to!!!
Ladies, Men, everyone with long hair, thick hair, hair that needs to be blown dry - if you are staying at this resort, you do not need to pack your own good quality hairdryer - the one in the room is the best hairdryer I have ever used at a resort or hotel in my life!!!
My favorite part was the view of the animals.
The first morning I was greeted by an ostrich and the second by a giraffe!
