Room was a bit cramped, but we made it work with a family of 4. Biggest complaint would be coming across a spider at least once a day. Found one in restroom, bed, side of dresser, over the entry door. If you're okay with that I'd say everything else you can deal with. My wife is a Disney fanatic so no complaints made, but if it was any other hotel I'd be giving one star.
Bus routes were nice and convenient. Food court is convenient but only for 1 maybe 2 visits. Menu stays the same and it is super pricey.
Service was decent, however, overall would not stay here again.
We had a fantastic 2+ week stay in a preferred room in January. We were in the Jazz in section on the ground floor. There was some noise in the early mornings as people headed off to the parks, but this was to be expected. The food court was good, quick and reliable. The buses were excellent. We did encounter a few waits, at park close or if we’d just missed a bus, but the interconnectivity of Disney property is fantastic, and it was fantastic not to have to worry about driving - just show up and get dropped off at your destination. |Toward the end of our stay dance and cheerleading groups descended on the resort and made it all a lot less pleasant- buses, foodcourt, etc were all rammed. Thankfully the nighttime noise wasn’t too bad. I would not stay again during these competitions, although they seem near impossible to avoid. |We visited almost all of the other Disney resorts on our trip and while they were pretty, we preferred All Star Music for the casual food options and easy accessibility of the rooms. The other resorts also get a lot of visitors not staying there (like ourselves) that made them, and their transport, very busy. We will definitely stay here again once we’ve saved enough for our next trip
As soon as you walk in you can feel the magic! The service and ease of checking in was great. You get a room key that pretty much allows you to do everything as far as get in your room, make purchases, and enter into the parks. Staying at the resort also gives you early entry into the parks. They have buses that take you to and from the parks around the clock. Guest services are very helpful and there is a lot to see if you have to wait. There is a gift and more store and several options in the food court. A nice size pool and play area. There is a bar. Movies are shown in the movie hall. We stayed in the toy story section, where there are giant figures of woody, buzz and Rex. They have other setups that make it look like the movie as well. There is a playground and more.
The pictures that have already been posted by the resort and other guest are pretty accurate of what you will see. You won't be disappointed.
The room was super clean, and the beds were comfortable. Service was excellent and speedy. Everyone is so friendly! The in-room Disney Echo box is really handy especially for ordering linens, pillows, blankets, cups ... |I did notice a mildew smell coming from the vent when the AC was on, so we kept it off. Luckly it was not very hot out. The carpet in the dining area has a not so pleasant odor. Tile flooring might be better :-) It's a beautiful resort. My son loved the outdoor movie each night.
Spent 2 weeks here with the family and the resort is amazing. The staff very friendly, accommodating, helpful and make you feel extremely welcome. Yes you are a paying guest but nothing is too much trouble, even setting up magicbands when they go wrong.
Rooms are cleaned frequently and the cleaning staff always friendly and cheerful.
Would recommend to anyone and will be returning.
We have stayed in this resort several times before. This time we stayed in the Dalmation building which had renovated rooms and was very close to the main pool, dining hall and transportation. It was a great location. The renovated rooms are great, everything was very clean and comfortable. The theming of this hotel is just the cutest, be sure to take some time to walk around. The transportation to and from the parks is very convenient and a major perk to staying onsite so we took advantage of that every day.
Great hotel, with good service. A bit further out of Magic Kingdom and a few other parks, especially when you're tired at the end of a long day, but great bus links. Room was spacious and felt like a mini apartment as we were on the ground floor. Main pool was closed when we went so we didn't swim, but there was a smaller but quiet busy pool available. Not too many vegetarian options and food is expensive. Pizza is great though. Would definitely stay again.
The rooms are great compared to what they were. The pools were very dirty and the service at the food court and housekeeping was pretty much non existent. Housekeeping came only once in 6 days of staying there. I loved this place in the past but I won't be back.
