We visited last week and were only passing through. I enjoy visiting casinos, and although this casino was undergoing outdoor construction, it was well organized inside.
The players' club service was nice and welcoming. Their friendly smiles and courteous demeanor made me want to stay longer. Although we lost and didn’t win any big money, we had a great time. The restrooms were clean, and the environmental services staff was incredibly friendly and joyful. It was a pleasure to be around them. I hope they’re doing well.
I hope we can visit again, even if it’s just for a quick stop.
Warning do not gamble here! Place is filled with 6 deck 6:5 Blackjack, CS machine blackjack and their “high limit” blackjack is double deck, hand cut at 45% deck penetration so you aren’t even playing real “double deck” let alone blackjack bahaha. Absolutely horrendous odds at this place for players. These are casino games altered and made into basically carnival games for maximum profit. It’s a total sham against paying customers. Don’t forget the Triple Zero Roulette!
Very easy to just put traditional roulette or double deck blackjack so the players can have good odds to play the games. The casino still makes money. Such a shame at a nice place.
Casinos that alter their games like this should be boycotted. Spent a ton of money here and was never offered a room that night, or connected with a host on a Saturday night. Unbelievable. Drive 45 minutes and get better odds and games in Lake Charles. Trust me. I’ll only be returning for the golf course.
We didn't stay at the hotel because they were already booked. We did, though, enjoyed the tome we were there. The children played at the KIDS Quest while we did our own playing. This is the only casino we enjoy as a family.
Was there today with a large group for several hours. There were some new gamblers, they had to get their cards. Staff was great and very efficient in handling all of them. Margaret, she works on the floor. SHE WAS AWESOME! Some new folks had questions, she handled the questions, did not make them feel stupid in anyway. The wait staff had drinks delivered promptly and with smiles. Ate in the Terrace, Ms Brenda was our waitress she was great! Handled the large party, separate checks, food out quickly and correctly. ALL with a SMILE on her face! Just a few shout outs to let them know we appreciate their efforts.
We have stayed in the RV park quite a few times and it is absolutely great. We didn’t get comped this time, but the price is still good for what you get. The casino itself was extremely tight this visit. I looked around in the crowded rooms and I saw no one winning anything big. Should’ve taken that as a hint and cut the visit short. Great RV park however and the food is pretty decent. Be careful with the gambling here.
Huge selection and variety of slots and table games with a range of buy ins from entry level to insane. Staff does a good job of keeping the casino floor clean and it seems like they do a good job of introducing new sets of games periodically to keep things interesting. Definitely recommend coming here on a weekday when it is less crowded and you have free range over any slot you want. Seven Clans Hotel is nice and convenient location for heading back and forth to the casino. Ok selection of restaurants but the Steakhouse is high quality and worth a try, especially when using your comp balance.
Very nice place. Very clean and well maintained. The restaurant we ate at was pleasant, quiet and had delicious food. Small, compared to other Tribal casinos like Foxwoods or Mohegan Sun, but with a much more comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. The campground on the res.just down the road is lovely.
Great variety of machines. However, just wish they would go 100% non-smoking. There is no socially redeeming reason to allow smoking...not healthy for patrons and employees!! ...and they leave the door wide open for the small non-smoking area...that defeats the purpose of having a non-smoking area! Comps are great and food choices are pretty good. I like that you can order drinks too, at the slot machines. Ample parking. Dream pool and choice of hotel accommodations is great too.
By-the-way, only 12% of Americans still smoke, yet with the small non-smoking area, with door that stays open (that lets in smoke) and the rest is smoking area, how come you all still allow smoking at all?! Please do not insensitively tell me I can just go somewhere else if I don't like it (allowing smoking)...which begs the question of how come you all still allow it. I suspect, that you all make more money from smokers than nonsmokers.
