Best WLM Reviews

The food and services are great! The dining area is crowded because everyone wants to sit and eat due to how welcoming the dining area is, no fault of their own. They have utensils, napkins, and plates available. Also water to drink. As soon as the establishment opens, it is packed. They do have their own parking area, no payment needed, but it does get full. Be patient, you may wait 3 to 4 minutes, but you will find parking.
I was unfortunately not impressed with this restaurant but I was so hoping I would be. The food here is decent but it is not italian food. It is very americanized. The staff here were not nice, we asked for a vegetarian pasta and they said okay and handed us pasta with pork in it. Then when we brought it to their attention, they were snippy in the responses. We decided to stop in the store/bakery before leaving and got some small chocolates to go, however it was not until we were at the register that the price was told to us, and it was $65/lb.
Overall, I was truly not impressed and a bit let down by the experience. I wanted so badly to love this place. The concept is amazing, the cafeteria style is great, but the food, service, and price of it all was not good.
I ordered two pastries and they were both great and super fresh. But there was a lot of delicious food and full of great smell, with a lot of options for food, pastries and groceries. The staff were so friendly and welcoming with patients to choose your food. Atmosphere was so cozy and warm????
The food is very much cafeteria style. It is not bad by any means but is definitely not Italian. The Ambiente was impacted for me because everything was served on a plastic tray and it was eaten with plastic silverware. It is good for a quick lunch but I would not go there for dinner.
In my opinion the food is overpriced for what you get.
I’ve always loved the pizza and the cannolis here, closest thing to real Italian I can get without going to NY. However, I wish the customer service was better. I always feel rushed and like the staff aren’t so friendly. I don’t know if it’s a language barrier or that’s just the personality of the staff, or if they’re over worked. This is the reason I stopped dining in and went for take out. Hopefully, on my next visit things are better. If not, who knows, I might not return.
Cossetta’s never lets you down. 5/5
The food is delicious and the atmosphere and service are set at a high standard as well. It’s a great place to go with friends and family if you are looking for a fun and flavorful experience!
I’ve been several times, but this time had the Italian hero sandwich. One of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. Hands down. The fresh baguette was perfect, and there were so many flavors in every bite. I dream of this sandwich regularly.
Besides just the restaurant there is also a bakery and supermarket attached which are fun to explore as well! If you want a new experience in St. Paul Cossetta’s is the place to go!!
Awesome place! So many options! I haven’t tried the food in the restaurant, but I can’t wait to!
Cosetta’s deserves its reputation as a St. Paul institution- delicious food and incredible atmosphere! Yes, it’s almost always busy, but there is a reason for that. The pastry shop has lovely goodies and the grocery section is well stocked.
