Best WLM Reviews

I had a wonderful dining experience at The Corner restaurant. The burnt ends appetizer was tender and succulent, setting the tone for a delicious meal. The smoked beef tacos were packed with flavor and tasted amazing. The beef short ribs were cooked to perfection.
To top it all off, I ended the meal with a rich Brownie for dessert. It was the perfect sweet treat to round out a very enjoyable meal.
We got into town late and needed a bite to eat. Most places around closed at 10:00 but this place was open until 12:00 am.
It’s located on the ground floor of the JW Marriott. The service was very friendly and welcoming.
Because it was so late, they had switched to their late night menu. I ordered the brisket tacos. They were very tasty. A good portion for a late meal. My only complaint was the price. At $21 for the plate, they were $7 a taco.
The restaurant was very comfortable and well kept.
Loved this place! Definitely a great location if you’re looking for a brunch spot in downtown Austin. The wait time was about 30 minutes but it seemed to go by pretty quickly.
Tried some selections from their brunch menu. The pork carnitas tacos and the brunch burger were so delicious! You just gotta try them. A lot of the other food platters that we saw also looked so so good.
Erin, our waitress, was also so pleasantly nice. Super friendly and seemed pretty down to earth. Shoutout to her! Can’t wait to revisit again and try some of their other food selections.
It's quite a large restaurant with multiple seating areas. Reservation is recommended because it was quite busy. We ordered the salmon entree, the waygu ribs, and the corner salad. Everything looked and tasted delicious. Matt was our server and he was super friendly and checked in often.
Grilled flat iron steak is good :) friendly staff and lots of seats! still good to reserve table ahead of time so they can prep and get you seated faster. Food to a bit of time so prepare to wait a bit or ask them to bring anything that’s ready out first.
The delta between how this place looks (amazing) and the food (terrible) is a chasm as wide as the pay gap between the rich and poor in Texas. I love the dark interior decor and the smart open kitchen and bar. But my tacos were bland, and the tuna "tostada" had soggy wafers that completely underwhelmed the texture. My burger was also overcooked, denoting low quality meat and an amateurish kitchen staff. Unsure how the rating of this place can be so high with so much volume. Either Austinites taste buds and palate are of low standard, or the Corner restaurant had a bot farm lifting its rating. Either way, this place needs to chill, reflect and relook at its dishes.
Pretty good! Not 4.9 good but very good and definitely a good decision if you're looking for good food. I would say that the only criticisms I have are proportions of tuna ceviche are light, and on a kid's meal the guacamole shouldn't have jalapeno (still good tasting though). I would say that the burnt ends were very good, does ceviche was also very good, and the quesadilla was excellent. I would have no hesitation recommending this place but I wouldn't call it a must return to spot.
Ok, this place was AMAZING! Matt was incredible! Super recommend this spot. The summer margarita was so good and refreshing. The chicken enchiladas were insane!
