It was a rainy saturday, so no outdoor stands. Nice food hall with diverce options, and a sitting area. There are many indoor shops and covered stalls outside, selling mostly cheap items like clothes, shoes, accessories, various household items and some fresh produce as well.
Stumbled upon this market by chance and spent a few hours herd. The outdoor market closes early during the week, but there were plenty of hard working vendors still there after 3 with plenty of products. No rush with the indoor market, they close later. Something for everyone with fair pricing. I would go back again.
Exactly what I expected from a farmer's/flea market in New Jersey. The produce is extraordinarily fair in price. Most of what we've gotten was at the very ripe stage, especially in the summer, so you may not want to hang on to it too long.
The Amish markets are well kept. Some things are marked higher than others but it is a business in all fairness.
The indoor market is clean, a very interesting mash-up of shops, something for everyone.
Outside is it's own beast. It is a flea market so you get what you get.
If you haven't gone here yet, your missing out. Lots of regulators like me come here faithfully everyweek. On Thursdays new stuff comes out and Sundays are a fan favorite days. You won't be disappointed if you do. So much to see and many things to buy at a much lower price. Or the rare hard to find items might be a little pricey but you will never see it again and the customer behind you will buy it. Plenty of food vendors...Amish Market have excellent babyback ribs located indoors "which this market is not available on Sundays", Mexican tacos and the "season your own" Corn outdoor vendors 2 ears for $5.00 are my favorite stands. Columbus Flea Market is loved by all variety of people. So come out and have a free fun day at Columbus Flea Market. See you there.
We go here on Thanksgiving day for the past 37 years. This year was the slowest I've ever seen this place. Usually, this place gets so crowded on Thanksgiving's day, There is no place park or walk. I remember back in the early 90s, merchants had to set up their stand beyond other people's farms outside the Columbus flea market. It felt like all merchants around the nation came. I know it rained this year, but wow, how depressing to see what it was and what it became. The weather had a lot to do with it? The culture has changed now. The online business has taken over the flea markets and
the whole retail industry. We must accept the inevitable. Sad as it may be, We come here for the Amidh BbQ ribs. Normally, old people would come out with their instruments and play some tunes. But not this year. I see the ending of this columbus flea market culture coming soon. It's just a matter of time.
This Farmers Market stands out as one of the best I've visited across the country. From fresh produce to furniture, meats, and even a barbershop, it offers a diverse range of goods. While Sundays lack the Amish community presence, their unique offerings truly make this place special. Ample parking is available, though arriving early is advisable. My visit left me loaded with goodies and thoroughly satisfied with the experience.
The Columbus Farmers Market is truly a gem! If you’re a fan of fresh produce and top-notch baked goods, this is the place to visit. The variety and quality of fruits and vegetables here are second to none—everything is vibrant, fresh, and reasonably priced. It’s a delight to stroll through the produce section, knowing you’re getting the best the season has to offer.
The baked goods are where this market really shines! From artisanal breads to decadent pastries, the selection is incredible. Every bite tastes homemade, with that perfect balance of freshness and flavor that you just can’t find in a grocery store. The pies are a standout—flaky crusts and flavorful fillings that taste like they were made in your grandmother’s kitchen.
The atmosphere is lively and welcoming, with friendly vendors who genuinely care about their craft. Whether you’re stocking up on fresh veggies or treating yourself to a bakery indulgence, the Columbus Farmers Market delivers an unbeatable experience every time. Highly recommend!
Delicious Amish food everything is made fresh. So much fun going there. I love their pizza place. Really good tomato pie. They have a lot of stores and a lot of different restaurants. The chicken coop is really good. I love their fried chicken and their prices are very low. There's a bakery with just about everything you can think of. They have it. Some guy always yelling about banana bread when you walk in. Nice people, great customer service, great food. Check out the candy store by the Amish food court. They have candied bacon. Check it out.
