Lobby was super nice, receptionist also super nice. As soon as the elevator doors opened I was like uh oh. The elevators, hallways, and our room were crudy. Sheets were clean, bed was old. I couldn't pinpoint where it was coming from, but the stale smell of years of smoking in that room was still present. Would not stay there again.
Stayed last year for a bowling tournament and we enjoyed ourselves so much we decided this year to stay extra days. Big mistake. We upgraded to suit and the couches are actually ripped up and stiff and stained up. The bed is absolutely terrible. I'm actually in pain from sleeping on it for 3 nights. The room is nothing like the pictures we were shown when booking. The carpets are disgusting. The heaters don't work right at all.The window seals were disgusting...for the casinos. We have been here 4 days and haven't won at all. All different times of the day. This place in 1 years time has gone drastically downhill. For the tournament next year we will be staying elsewhere and gambling elsewhere. Absolutely horrible. We have 1 more nights here can't wait to go home.
My favorite place in Reno, I consider this hotel my second house, I travel from Las Vegas once a month and I don’t even bother to look for any other hotel, I have everything I need at Circus Circus Reno ????. The check in says 3 pm, but if you show up 2.30 pm they will check you in. If you ask floor 17 sky tower you get both the gym down the elevator and the best maid Sue, she will bring you coffee and warm towels and is the best maid ever.
The gym is awesome and have multi functional machine that you can workout out every muscle group.
The rooms are huge, even the standard rooms. I highly recommend this hotel.
They have definitely improved the rooms. The beds are great, pillows are soft and fluffy, and the water pressure in the shower is amazing. The price is great and offers so much food, entertainment, and arcades. I love that they still have the circus performances.
Was a nice place at one time. The 4 minute circus act isn't that appealing but an amazing place for kids. They devote the whole second floor to a giant Dave and Busters like arcade and carnival games. Seems a little run down.
Despite the intensely confusing structure of this hotel and its conjoined siblings, I enjoyed my stay here.
This is mostly thanks to the bell staff, Lukas and Chase, for not only bringing helping me with my luggage, but explaining the layout of the hotel. Lukas even guided me through check-in and provided a map.
My main complaint is that according to the staff, there are no microwaves or ways to heat your food in the whole hotel or surrounding area. I genuinely doubt this, but if it's true, the hotel should take better care of their staff and provide them a way to heat food. Paying $100+ for a night's stay, it seems like there should be a way to heat food.
The rooms are good. The entertainment and dining options are vast, and even the casino is more welcoming than overwhelming. All roads lead to the casino, which can be frustrating and disorienting, but I suspect that's the intent.
Now that I know my way around, it's good value, has free parking, great hospitality, automated check-in, and I would stay here again.
We stayed for one night while traveling to California. The first thing I would say needs improvement is having better signs in the parking garage on where to go for checking in. When we did get to the front desk the self check in kiosks were useful, but it did take us a couple of times to find a kiosk that worked. The hallways to the rooms smelled fresher than down by the front desk/casino/arcade area. The room was clean, but when checking for bed bugs I did find a booger on the side of the mattress and there was another one on the wall above the nightstand. I think there are areas for improvement, but overall a very decent hotel for the price.
This is located in the heart of Reno with abundant parking and lots of nearby dining in the other casinos. The arcade opens at 3 pm and is by far the best aspect of this property. It was clean and there were many games, a lot of variety in games as well.
The hotel lacks clear signage, has multiple areas with broken glass, and we continually were running into people who were clearly not guests in long, quiet hallways with no staff anywhere in sight. The ice machine on our floor doubled as a VERY popular ash tray. Our room had a shower that leaked all over the bathroom with each use, probably vomit on one of the bathroom walls, and more than likely blood in the other bathroom. We couldn’t find anyone to help address so we bought our own cleaning supplies.
