Cutest little spot in downtown Greensboro! Thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere + vibe of this place. Staff was super friendly. They did notify our table due to everything being freshly prepared, we should expect a longer than typical wait for our food. I really appreciated them setting the expectation upfront. ❤️ The seasonal apple pie margarita was to die for. Pure genius in a glass. I ordered the swim + run. (I did ask for my sauce on the side. Just personal preference.) Perfectly prepared and was a perfect portion. Will definitely be adding this to the date night rotation!
A fantastic spot for brunch in Greensboro! We made reservations and we were seated right away. Bright, spacious, and open dining area with an eclectic design style. Our server was excellent and super attentive. A true professional. She gave us the backstory of the restaurant and a rundown on their menu, letting us know if they were out of any items. We ordered the Blackened Chicken Omelette and the Corned Beef Hash. While we waited, we were given some very small corn muffins that were so decadently sweet and yummy! The Blackened chicken omelette was great and their house hot sauce went very well with it. The corned beef hash is amazing. They make the corned beef in-house and it is delicious! The cocktail Summer Ode was super tasty. I opted for an Americano coffee which was very good. Highly recommend this spot for great food and great service!
I loved this restaurant. My server Arie was so wonderful, kind, and helped me understand the menu. She gave us a cute history of the restaurant and explained that everything is farm to table and prepared from scratch when you order.
I definitely suggest going right when they open to avoid long wait times for your food. The meal was affordable. My sister got the mimosa flute which she said was very tasty. She also got the grit cakes, and I got the hen & bread (aka chicken and waffles). I’m a vegetarian so they substituted a fried oyster mushroom for the chicken and it was great. My niece had the cille pancake (size of a plate) with some scrambled eggs and bacon.
The atmosphere is great but the seating is kind of tight. For four people you will be sitting elbow to elbow. But it’s worth it! Definitely eat here!
Decided to come here on a whim and so glad we did. It was delicious!! Complimentary blueberry muffins also. The lattes were great, highly recommend anything with a biscuit and the Texas Pete marinaded chicken! Atmosphere was great, we enjoyed people watching out the front window.
Snicker doodle muffins were great.
Grits were awesome.
Wasn't a fan of collard greens, but I'm not a fan of sweet food for lunch or dinner.
Grouper also didn't have much flavor.
I would return to try other options.
'Cille and 'Scoe has quickly become a favorite place for my husband and I. We have been for brunch several times and just recently joined them for dinner. There are so many things I appreciate and love about this place:
- The story behind 'Cille and 'Scoe.
- Food is farm to table and freshly made. The food is priced fairly for what it is. You don't get this fresh of ingredients everywhere.
- They cook their food in butter or avocado oil aside from items in the fryer (understandably).
- It is very obvious a lot of thought goes into the menu options, and everything we have ordered has been absolutely incredible.
- They have a mocktail menu for people like me who don't drink. This allows me to enjoy an exceptional meal and a crafted drink.
- When I eat here, I am supporting a wonderful family, local farmers, and an excellent staff.
The list could go on and on. If you're even considering eating here, please just go. You will not be disappointed! We have loved everything we have been served and have made this place a regular stop for us.
We went there to celebrate one of my friend's birthday. It was everyone's first time dining there. The atmosphere was awesome and the staff was very friendly. The food was amazing! No one had any complaints. Our waitress, Jordan, was so sweet, kind, and patient with us, as we all had questions regarding the menu. She told us the history behind the restaurant and how 90% of the food served there is made from scratch. We had an amazing time and they even brought out a complimentary mini muffin cake to help celebrate our friend's birthday. Even the chef, who was a contestant on the TV show Chopped, came out and greeted us with a smile. If you're looking for a restaurant to enjoy in Greensboro, definitely visit Cille and Scoe.
Great food! We all loved our brunches. Jordan was our server and she was patient and attentive. Told us some of the background about the restaurant while people decided on drinks. You can tell that everything is homemade with fresh ingredients. Yum. Highly rated brunch place. We had reservations. Pictured are a fall harvest salad, a pumpkin pancake topped with strudel crumbles, and a steak omelet.
