Decided to be spontaneous and spend a night near Solvang. Stayed in room 927 and the room had a nice view of the pool. The room is spacious and remodeled. Decor is lovely with wood-type flooring, and I appreciated the nice big mirror in the entry way. |The towels, bed, and bedding are delightful. Robes are offered, which is a nice plus for extra relaxation. Toiletries are great as well. One suggestion would be to add a makeup mirror to the wall. I tested out the pool and it's nicely landscaped. Staff were all friendly and we were able to check-in early. Parking is super easy. I can't wait to stay again in the future.
Being used to casinos in Minnesota, this was a really bad experience in comparison. First, the whole place stinks because they allow smoking. You'd think they would have taken the opportunity to go smoke free after covid, but no. Too many machines either not working well, or out of service. Very confusing layout, no directories. No self serve coffee/soda stations. Had to be lucky enough to catch a wait person. Machines weren't paying out. And the parking garage took forever to get out of. I would NEVER EVER come back!
I did not stay at the hotel, just visited the casino. It was my boyfriend's birthday and that's where he wanted to go. It was nice as usual. Clean. Polite and helpful staff. I actually won this time. I don't like coming here because I have never won. This is a first in like 10-12 years. Overall, we had a good visit.
I love this casino. The location & surroundings are as good as it gets in southern California. Slots are fun and payes-outs are good almost each time I played. It's a clean and safe environment. Highly advice.
We stopped in for a quick bite and some free play. We are at the sports bar upstairs and our food was good enough. The adamane was oily but tasty with the garlic. The chicken breast sandwich was soft and tasted good. My Shirley temple was the best part. Then we waited in a fairly long slow line at the players club to receive our Chumash casino players cards. They gave us $30 each of slot free play. We immediately turned that into $100 on the first slot we saw, and walked out. We would have stayed longer but the cigarette smoke was too much for us.
Everything was perfect; clean, comfortable, easy to operate. All the extras make it extra special. Not to mention direct access to the Casino. We live nearby and find Chumash a great way to cut out some couple time for ourselves and get away from the stress of all things at home. Perfect distance from home for a nice getaway. Beautiful rooms, accommodating staff, free valet service. I also love the complimentary water refrigerators scattered throughout the casino. A very nice touch! My family and I also enjoy attending concerts here as the entertainment hall provides an intimate experience as no seat in the house is a bad seat.
I just got back from a California visit, and spent a day and night at the Chumash Casino Report. It was fantastic and I highly recommend it. Cheyenne checked us in and she started our stay on a really positive note. She was very friendly, helpful and so nice. In fact, everyone I dealt with there were friendly, genuine and helpful. We had so much fun playing in the casino. Our room was huge, and we got a great price (Thursday night). The location is perfect - we went to Solvang and Los Olivos from there and there is lots of camping and other things very close by.
