Great place, for my first experience in a casino I was genuinely impressed. The auditorium for concerts is amazing. Small enough to navigate and feel part of the action, large enough that it isn't standing room only. The whole place was clean, organized and you don't have to look far for an attendant to help with direction or general information. I will definitely go back again for another concert and hotel stay in the future!
My wife and I visited here for the 1st time for a weekend getaway, and we had a great time! The hotel room & bathroom was big and spacious. Of course, there were plenty of machines to go around. We were surprised that it was very crowded but did seem like it, as there was plenty of room to move around. There was a separate arcade area for the young ones to keep busy while the adults were feeling lucky. There's also a movie theater that we liked as well. We we in the Sky Tower hotel and we loved the fact that it has a non-smoking casino. The food and drinks were plentiful, and a great tasting bang for you bucks. Great and lasting 1st impressions that anyone will enjoy. Check it out, you'll love it! We can hardly wait to visit again!
Choctaw is a great place to go and gamble. With the recent addition of their fun zone it is also a family destination with movie theater, bowling, and an arcade. They have great selections for food too. A food court and several other options on the casino floor. I rated it a 4/5 just because I never seem to win! But that doesn't deter us from coming back to try our luck. :). Service is always friendly and the casino floor (and bathrooms) are clean too!
All and all the rooms are really nice and I like how it is family oriented. Nice place to be able to take your family to and adults play some games. I wouldn't recommend the slots tho. Second time coming here and I've spent about 1000 each time. I always walk away with nothing. I would recommend staying and eating and arcade but avoid the slots. The tables where a turn off to me because ultimate holder is 10 min and that's to high.
We always win enough to keep us playing. Continue to get free food and free play. Only comp rooms during the week but have gotten good discounted rates when we wanted to stay. Book in advance and check the rate, if it goes down call & they re-rate it to lowest price! Love the free 2 buffet offer, always good and fresh!
My husband and I visited last night and we had a great time as always! The staff is always friendly and helpful. The rooms are always clean when we stay there, however last night we found some food in the fridge from I’m sure the other people that stayed in the room prior. The room was not dirty at all it was very clean and smelt great. Maybe cleaning people just forgot to check the fridge? That was our only Complaint other than that I have nothing but great things to say about Choctaw. If you ever visit, definitely eat at the buffet!
We’re closer to WinStar, but they are now super expensive as there are concerts there every weekend and it’s super crowded. This hotel is very well laid out. the sky tower and associated casino are smoke free and shiny. lots of options for dining, bars and places to hang out.|The rooms were pretty large and well appointed. Bathroom very nice. Comfy beds. |- super easy mobile check in and check out - room was ready at 1:00 pm on Saturday. Had double queen room on 16th floor.|- unfortunately ice machine on 15 + 16 were not working - minor issue.|- was able to get on any table we wanted all night. Staff friendly and proficient. |- this casino has an arcade, bowling alley, movie theatre and race betting- something for everyone! |- stayed in the old grand tower a year ago- it was awful- clearly an old smokers room and room was incredibly run down- hopefully they are remodeling - but I wouldn’t stay there again. |- $40 buffet is always worth it. Staff in the buffet does a killer job even though it’s a mad house. Unlimited crab and shrimp- say no more.|- breakfast at sand and stone was yummy. Free appetizer donuts which were delish…
We love this Casino, it is nice, new, non-smoking, and beautiful. Everyone we have interacted with has been amazing. However, get ready for a ride of a review with this one. Me and my parents stayed here for Mother's Day Weekend 2024. We gambled, dined at their beautiful steakhouse and ordered amazing food, and had a wonderful stay. Everything was great, until it was time to checkout.||Now, typically, we don't ever go to the desk to check-out since we had no room charges and such, but for some reason we did. I guess because the desk was near the exit, and there was some kind of extra charges for pool wristbands that wasn't quite explained to us - but that isn't the problem. We were checked out of our first room with no problem. During the check-out of the second room the staff helping us said, "Oh! I'll be right back..." and walked into the back managers office. This struck me as being pretty weird because I've never had this happen, and I stayed in hotels across the world.||Next thing we know, there's a manager in a suit named Eric who comes out and says they've made a "mistake" and that there was a "charge" that was unknown. He handed us the invoice and it says instead of charging us $300 for a one night stay, he charged us $30,000 (THIRTY THOUSAND DOLLARS). Regardless that this is an abhorrent amount of money, our cards are good for it, and the charge goes through. We are absolutely livid at this point, lost, confused, and felt betrayed.||It gets better. Eric claims that the charge will be reversed and removed within five days. OK, Eric...||On Sunday of the weekend at 5am, the hotel charges us ANOTHER THIRTY THOUSAND DOLLARS. Now, this is our family business card with American Express. There are no limits, because we charge quite a bit for our people to have the best. This entire thing has still yet to be resolved. The hotel is claiming that the second charge is unfindable- but American Express certainly located it, as both were hard charges that went through. We are disgusted, shocked, appalled, and still in the hole for over $60,000; and now are dealing with locked cards and the loss of employee credit cards within the business. It is awful, and for that reason I just don't know if we can ever stay here again.||The staff at Choctaw has been semi-understanding of the issue. They don't have nearly enough empathy as they have charged us the annual American salary for one night at their hotel. I guess it is good to know those keypads on their computers really do work... For any amount...||Please make it right Choctaw. We are still waiting.
