The service at this place was incredible. The best waiters in San Antonio. The salad was super complete and the best cuts of meat. The chefs pleased all my guests at the table, and were very cordial. We celebrated my birthday and my guests from San Antonio, Houston and Louisiana. Everyone was very happy with the food and service. 100% recommended.
My first visit to Chama Gaúcha Brazilian Steakhouse was an experience unlike any other. From the moment I stepped in, the ambiance transported me to a carnivore's paradise. The array of succulent meats, expertly cooked and served tableside, captivated my taste buds with every bite. But it wasn't just about the meat; the salad bar offers a refreshing contrast, featuring fresh greens, vibrant salads, and delightful sides. The attentive staff ensured that my dining experience was seamless, catering to your every need with warmth and professionalism. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply treating yourself, a visit to Chama Gaúcha is a culinary journey worth savoring.
Phenomenal experience! We celebrated my mother’s 80th. Diego the staff and the Bar Team were on point with recommendations, service and accommodations. The food was amazing during each round of portions. Well worth it and I highly recommend. See you again soon!
First off, this place is 5 star in almost every way. The customer service, atmosphere, food, and cleanliness are perfect. If you are looking for a new dining experience, check this place out. The Brazilian style of all kinds of meat how you want it coming out every few minutes is great. There drinks and drink makers are exceptional. This is a must see worth experience!!!
The food was AMAZING! With so many options that keep coming around if you leave hungry its your own fault!
Some of our favorites included the Pork Ribs, the Bacon Wrapped Tenderloin, the Ribeye, and the Garlic Pork Bites.
The drinks were tasty, but strong. The dessert was positively fantastic!
I'm not an expert in Brazilian Steak House's, but I have been to a few. There are extensive reviews from others here, I'll cut mine shorter. Look at the pictures. Food served from the kitchen tableside: house special sirloin, ribeye, bacon wrapped filet medallions, lamb chops, pork sausage, chicken drumsticks, bacon wrapped chicken breast medallions. A very nice salad bar with charcuterie and a few cheeses. Pan seared banana, mashed potatoes, cornbread slices, cheese bread mini muffins. We had ice tea, water, and the special lemonade, but traded that for a traditional lemonade.
Topped off with chocolate mousse cake and Fireball Cheese cake. You need to make a presentation for your celebration, check out my posted video with that cheese cake. It's entertaining. So I will say we did enjoy our food. Most were prepared well and not heavily seasoned, letting the food and techniques shine. Only one piece of our chicken and one sausage seems to be over seasoned. The Friendly staff were right on top of our requests. We didn't wait, we were not rushed. We made a reservation for lunch and was seated right away. It is obvious to us there are some regulars that the staff see at least enough to recognize and greet them personally. So to the Staff a firm 5 stars. The atmosphere was nice. Strong 4.5 stars. The food, like I said, we've been to several places like this, even though we thought they do a really good job with what they are serving, it falls short of other like restaurants we have visited. The salad bar is nice but it is limited. The foods offered are nice but limited compared to some of our other experiences. Would we go back? Yes definitely. Lunch daily was $49.95. Dinner is $15 more. The menu is the same lunch or dinner. Weekend prices are the dinner rate. Nice place to go and celebrate. If you have a hesitation, I would not just Go, let the wonderful staff woo you. Check out my pictures posted. They do have a wonderful wine and spirits selection.
I come for the salad bar, but my hubby and kids love the meats. Service is always beyond superb, even during lunch hour. Great place and the LEMONADE!! It's the best! ????
Chama Gaucha is definitely our go-to for Brazilian food. It can be a little pricey, but the food is definitely worth it. Also, make sure to reserve online as it's an easy process & will minimize your wait.
Chama has an outstanding salad area. They do have a lot of variety as is, but I wouldn't mind seeing a few extra items added, such as plain salad greens & some fruit.
The meat is the main star of the meal as waiters/staff walk around from anything from lamb to rib eye steak. I usually skip the sausage & chicken in lieu of the other cuts of meat. Having said that, it's all good! I'm getting hungry thinking about it :)
