I'm disappointed. When I visited here and saw doctor Lucinda Cheeseman. I was made to feel like I had nothing wrong with me and I was told "no, you don't have that" or "I don't think you have that" as well as made to feel stupid like I didn't know any better about my own body and mental health. I was then handed off after barely being consulted for 5 minutes to their on sight free mental health service where the older lady had good intentions but was very out of touch and sent my mental health backwards, I was then referred to a male counsellor through central health's services and even though explaining my past traumas I was still matched with a male counsellor who made me relive my traumas and would always reiterate how many sessions I had left and my mental health declined severely for years and I refused to revisit this health clinic and services.
If you want to feel like the doctor isn't listening to you and made to feel like an easy patient to get them back on time and schedule and basically pushed out the door then this is the perfect place!
Since coming to Australia and seeing a doctor and being heard, I now have a diagnosis of many things and finding out that I have a dermoid cyst on one of my ovaries which I had said to the doctor @ central health that I've had stabbing pain in my lower abdomen.
It's nice to feel heard and something done about my issues even if it's 3 years later and by a different practise, I'm just extremely disappointed in the care at Central Health, and I'm extremely happy to have moved countries to find a practise and doctor that listens.
The doctors and nurses are great but all the receptionists are not (especially on the phone).
I've been going to this practice for more than 10 years and it's always been the case.
I only go because of the doctors!
That new doctor in Central Health name Ashrih Arif looks like he is having a bad day because everytime I’m asking him a question he seems irritated. That’s why I’m there is to ask questions because he have knowledge as a doctor but looks like he have a weird personality. I’m not going to make an appointment with him anymore!!
We were at Rotorua on a holiday from Australia and on this particular day we were vsiting, the weather was stormy and wild. My dads finger got jammed in a door and luckily we found this place. The doctors were very kind and helped my dad out at no cost. Very grateful for their kindness!

The youngest lady at the Reception is quite rude..did not like the way she spoke to me and others.

I made an appointment a week ago,rang the day prior too confirm what was needed as a first time patient,arrived 15 minutes early as required,on arrival i was told by staff they had tried too call me?(id given my mb number twice)nothing on my phone?then told i would have to wait 3weeks for another appointment as they hadnt allowed enough time?I have lived and worked all over the world I have never witnessed such a three ringed circus!
