Best WLM Reviews

We had a really good dinner at Carmine's. Our waitress Ashley was amazing. She was friendly and attentive and very helpful with everything. We got the baked clams for our appetizer, and they were cooked to perfection. For our main, we shared the mixed seafood plate with angel hair pasta in the red sauce it was cooked wonderfully. We also had the chocolate cannoli with pistachios. I would definitely come back on our next trip to New York.
Fantastic experience. Food was delicious and massive portions. Each dish could feed a family of 5 it felt like. The vibe was awesome, really good jazz and old Christmas music and a really enjoyable atmosphere. A must visit in NYC.
Carmine’s is a great spot for a pre-show meal, with portions large enough to feed the entire cast and crew! I always make time for a visit when I’m in NYC. The service is efficient, the food arrives quickly, and the quality is solid for the price point. While it might not blow your mind, it’s a reliable choice for hearty, family-style dining. Perfect for sharing!
We were so lucky to get into this iconic Italian restaurant. You need reservations a month in advance. But that didn't matter because they had a bar and we went inside. To our extreme luck, there were two seats available at the bar. We had the chicken parmesan and of course it's family style so just order one for two people. It was amazing. My 92-year-old Aunt used to babysit Michael Ronin, who was allegedly Arts partner back in the day. Anyway, Junior our server and bartender was amazing. The ambience and people were amazing. This will be my go-to restaurant whenever I'm in Times Square. I have Carmine's cookbook from back in the day which my aunt gave me. The bottom line here is if you're looking for incredible people incredible food at an iconic Italian restaurant, this is the place. I hope I can make it back there again soon.
Great restaurant for some fantastic Italian food. The atmosphere was electric and service was very friendly. It was my first time and will likely return in the near future. Highly suggest making reservations well in advance.
This place came highly recommended. We made reservations for 6 pm. Crowds were waiting outside. Once we got in we were told they were running behind. We didn't get seated until 6:30. Unfortunately we got seated at a busy spot and all evening long I kept getting my seat bumped. Our waiter brought over a basket of bread plus two glasses of prosecco for our anniversary dinner. Our waiter was very helpful in advising us on what to order. He recommended chicken marsala over spaghetti, just one order to split. It turned out the plate could have fed four people. It was good. The portion size makes up for the expensive dish since it is huge. It was hard to hear but it was a lively atmosphere.
carmines is a great place to dine for family or friend events. The portion was huge & the waiters are friendly, they kept checking up on us & our food. price was steep but worth the price if you split among your friends/relatives.
I love the family style food, it's so easy to share different items with friends and family. It looks somewhat like a traditional Italian restaurant and it was packed to the brim, lots of tourists due to the location. The service was good, it can be a bit erratic when they get super busy but they are doing their best. We ordered several different items and they were all delicious with generous portions. We also ordered the Titanic dessert and it was a massive pile of ice cream, brownie, strawberries, and whipped cream. It definitely hit the spot.
