Best WLM Reviews

Visited Captain George in Myrtle Beach on a Friday night and was pleasantly surprised by the lack of wait despite the restaurant being busy. The waitstaff were attentive, always on hand to refill beverages. The buffet offered a wide selection, though I found the food to be good but not exceptional. This spot is perfect if you're in the mood to sample various dishes. The standout for me was the unlimited crab legs, and I also savored the delicious bread pudding.
Mar 2024:
Enjoy a delightful seafood feast at this cozy buffet spot. They offer unlimited crab legs and a variety of tasty seafood dishes, along with tempting desserts like soft-serve ice cream. The staff works hard to make sure you have a pleasant dining experience. It's a great choice for seafood lovers looking for a tasty meal! A bit costly but worth it. This is also a place with limited veggie options.
Captain George's Seafood Restaurant is a buffet that specializes in Snow Crab Legs and seafood. This location can be found in Myrtle Beach off of Highway 17.
I've been to several of the seafood buffets in Myrtle Beach and no buffet comes close to Captain George's. The quality and selection of seafood outmatch all of its competitors.
Most people come here for the crab legs, but there are plenty of other delicious items to try, so bring your appetite! Some of the other buffet items include Steamed Clams, Blackened Mahi, Broiled Salmon, Oysters Rockefeller, Deviled Crab, Sirloin Steak, BBQ Ribs, Chicken, and Beef Brisket. These are just a few of the entree items. They also have soups and salads, vegetables, sides, and desserts. All of the desserts are homemade.
The buffet costs $49.99.

Great experience. The largest Seafood restaurant I have ever seen. My wife and I are from NC . Pricey but it's was well worth it. They surprised my wife with a small birthday ???? didn't expect that. She was wearing a birthday button and the waiter did nothing it
It's the absolute best seafood buffet I have ever eaten at! You can't go wrong with picking this place. The price is reasonable for the variety of food to choose from. The quality of the food was awesome! Crab legs were always available. Our server was very attentive, and there were 16 of us. He gave excellent service.
I have been coming here for several years. I've also been to the Williamsburg, VA location. They are both great. The all you can eat crab legs alone is worth the money. I go to Captain George's every time I'm in Myrtle Beach. Adults are typically around $49.99 per person. They have discounts for an early bird special. It is a large buffet with a vast assortment of food and desserts. Plenty of choices when it comes to seafood too.
In our opinion, some of the food items were satisfactory but not exceptionally delectable. The recurring description of "too salty" prevented us from rating the food in the higher categories. Despite the extensive menu options, most of them fell short of our elevated expectations based on the positive reviews. Nonetheless, we managed to find a few enjoyable dishes that allowed us to satiate our hunger. The servers were quick and courteous throughout our dining experience. While it is unlikely that we will revisit this establishment, we consider our visit worthwhile as it provided us with the opportunity to experience it firsthand.
First time in Myrtle Beach and this restaurant was the absolute best dining experience I've ever had. It's my birthday and they sang and brought me a cake, but those fried oysters ???? Will eventually be back, restroom was even an atmosphere of it's own!!
