Video didn't do this place justice. I didn't want to film people but the buffet had so many options. Of course I came for the all you can eat seafood and it didn't disappoint. So fresh and juicy. Didn't taste like it had been sitting long. Every time I went up to get more there were fresh crab legs out. Man I cannot wait for my next trip. This is the first stop I'm making.
Always a joy coming here! I haven't been to this specific CAPTAIN George's in a few years, I have been going to the one in the outer banks the past few years, but it was still just as good as I remember! It is a higher price as far as buffets go, but it's higher value/quality food, so you definitely get your money's worth if you choose the more expensive foods. Definitely come check it out!!
The food was really good, and servers were nice and kept filling our waters. A photographer took our picture and offered us a few options to purchase and I thought was really cool. There’s so much food I didn’t get to try everything before I got full!
For a buffet it was absolutely amazing. Food was fresh and delicious. Crab legs on buffets are usually overcooked and soft. These still had that snap that lets you seperate and get every last ounce of meat out. Highly recommend this place.
First time eating on the bar side of Captain George’s. We all know/knew the buffet side was good but if you’re looking for a more slight intimate area then Just George’s is perfect ! The booths were spacious and comfortable and our server Charlotte was very professional and nice. The drinks were pretty good , so was the food . The only thing we didn’t take pictures of was our burgers or his shrimp , though they were pretty good on size, we took them to-go and ate it later on that night . 10/10 for us so you know we’ll be back !
I usually go to the Myrtle Beach location but this one was just as good.our server was Christy and she did an awesome job. We never waited for a refill of sweet tea or a napkin.everything was great will definitely be back

We went to Captain George’s on one of the busiest days—Thanksgiving! There was a line, but it moved pretty quickly. Parties of 4 were in a different line from parties of 5 and up. Large parties could make advance reservations, which I would recommend if you have 10 or more. The seating was full, but we did not feel crowded. The staff kept the buffet full and fresh and our wait staff were friendly and attentive to refills and clearing plates. The buffet had traditional Thanksgiving plus seafood and the chefs special was particularly good. Everyone also over-enjoyed the large dessert selection! Despite the crowds, our family had an excellent experience. Parking in the shopping center lot next door and walking over elongated any hassle with parking.
