Everything was great from the food to the service and the upkeep of the restaurant itself. The food was hot, fresh, and delicious. And I tried a lot - crab legs, stuffed crab, lobster mac and cheese, loaded mashed potatoes, alligator bites, frog legs, calamari, stuffed flounder, fried flounder, crab imperial, so many shrimp... not to mention the dessert bar! The service was outstanding - our waitress was very attentive. The restaurant looked remodeled - everything was clean and the buffet was well stocked. We had a time! My family is ready to make a day trip back just to eat here again.
I FINALLY GOT MY CRAB FIX AND IT WAS SOOOO WORTH IT. This place is outstanding in quality, cleanliness and service. The attentiveness of the staff is bar none. Our server Ina was super attentive and super sweet. I live in NY but when I return I'll be back for sure
Atmosphere and experience are phenomenal. Shout out to Kristina who was our server tonight. The manager was also very interested in every customer’s individual experience. Southern hospitality. Everything was delicious. I will deduct a point because the food was cold when we visited 1 hour prior to close. Will definitely visit again on my next visit.
The renovation looks great.
Base buffet is $49 so not bad if you eat more then one plate. Cocktails were reasonably priced.
Saida was fantastic, consistent but not pushy. Tim the manager also checked on us and was nice.
This place was absolutely AHHMAZING! Very well lit, extremely clean, the food was amazing with so many choices and our server was beyond helpful and knowledgeable. The food was hot and fresh and replaced quickly! Would absolutely recommend again and again!
First thing you notice is the updated, new and refreshed interior of Captain Ben's restaurant. We were promptly seated and had a wide selection of buffet items. Great variety of main dishes and desserts. Our waitress, Saidi (I hope I spelled her name correctly)... was great in clearing our table and bringing more water when we needed. Overall, our dinner was definitely good and will be returning when we make it back to town.
We go here all the time. Food is always excellent, place is clean and stuff is very friendly. Our server Eva is the best, make sure you request her when you’re visiting.
Clean, nice and a huge selection!! It's $55 after tax unless you have a coupon which most of the booklets have. I even had a cute Ukranian waiter lol. Deff ate $50 worth of seafood! Plus there is put put across the street and the ferris wheel behind it, so good location!
