I recently stayed at the Cannery Casino & Hotel during 2 weeks business trip due to its convenient location and reasonable rates. To check in you have to enter the casino which was smoke filled. I was assigned a room on the first floor adjacent to the casino. You could smell cigarette smoke in the hotel hallway which is a no deal for me. You could still faintly smell smoke in the hallway but not in the room itself. The room was very clean and well maintained. What I did not care for was the $30.50 resort fee that was charged each day. I booked my room through a 3rd party vendor and did not realize that the hotel was also going to charge me another $30.50 per day. This is unacceptable. I had very bad experience and an argument with the hotel service manager as she kind shown the racism nature and her treatment towards guest is very rude, however, I will not be returning due to this ridiculous resort fee and cigarette smoke.
I recently stayed at the Cannery Casino & Hotel during a weeklong business trip due to its convenient location and reasonable rates. To check in you have to enter the casino which was smoke filled. The front desk clerk was very friendly and provided a good overview of the facility. I was assigned a room on the first floor adjacent to the casino. You could still faintly smell smoke in the hallway but not in the room itself. The room was very clean and well maintained. I had a good view of the parking lot and could see where I had parked my vehicle. The five (5) nights I stayed at the Cannery were uneventful and I slept well each night. It's okay to go and get a little casino time in; if you don't wanna be bothered with the strip. Slots are not exactly tight but they are not very loose either. They have the stuff casinos have, a gift shop, food etc. The movies are located in the same parking lot. So that's pretty cool, even though I've never been.
My grandson and I got food poisoning at the Cannery Casino. They were so rude. My 5 yr old grandson went to the ER. They knew for a fact we were poisoned. I was so damn sick. All they did was take pictures. But they would not take the food or vomit to test. I should have gone to ER as well. My suggestion is to stay far away from this nasty hotels. You get what you pay for. Never again, even if the room is free. My rating is a 0
This casino is a pretty good locals' casino. The parking garage is nice to keep your car from melting while you are inside. Having a movie theater is great because even if you don't see a movie, it still smells like popcorn????
The first thing you notice, before you even walk through the front door, is the odor of cigarette smoke pouring out.
Once you walk inside, you remember exactly why you prefer hotels that filter their air. This place reeks like a used ash tray.
Rooms are standard. I really like rooms that include a refrigerator. I was most impressed by the pillows they use - very comfortable.
$1 roulette makes gaming worth it!
Soggy fries served at the diner.
Uninspired wait staff met the minimum requirements for 'service'.
I had the best interactions with the house keeping staff!!
Was here on business. Can't say I'd ever voluntarily stay here.
Awesome spot! Since family live in the area this has been my go to casino. Great selection or slots and tables. Almost every time I come to play there has been winners within the first 30-40 minutes. One day I'll hit a BIG or small jackpot.
Great service friendly players
Went to meet up with some friends. Had some fun, gambled, drank, and had some food. At around 11 at night, I decided to leave. Had a good time, paid the light bill for them. Time to go. I was pretty intoxicated and decided to rest in my car for a couple of hours before driving. 40 minutes later, I was woken up by two security guards knocking on my window and pointing flashlights directly in my eyes. Rudely, they told me that I had to leave immediately. I quickly explained my evening. Security said, " You need to leave now. Go squat in one of the parking lots across the street."|| One of these days, they will face a lawsuit for these actions. I will gladly be a witness. Will post my experience everywhere. Disgusting.
