I go to Borgata several times per year, and it’s definitely one of the best hotels and casinos in Atlantic City. It’s easily become my go to place for a mini getaway! Typically, Borgata is lively on the weekends and especially crowded on a major holiday. It has the latest slots and table games.
As a somewhat frequent MGM rewards member, I get free select hotel rooms (still have to pay for taxes and fees) which is one of the many perks. The rooms are clean and spacious, and the room service is pretty good. There are also a lovely indoor pool, gym, and spa services.
There are also plenty of dining options. I highly recommend Borgata Buffet (great value), The Metropolitan (amazing breakfast and lunch), and American Bar & Grille (dinner and bar).
Overall, I always have an amazing time there! As for the games, I don’t anticipate winning. However, my win ratio has always been positive and fun!
We had a short weekend stay at the Borgata Hotel and Casino. I was happy with the rooms, variety of food option onsite, nightlife options for those who like to hand out and party. The only downside for me was dealing with smokers in the casino, although they had two separate sections people still just walked around blowing smoke everywhere. The staff was really friendly and accommodating. The price wasn’t bad either especially for a weekend stay.
I only went there to gamble. It was fun .I'm a little mad because they put the sports book up and closed the horse race section of the casino. There are a lot of horse racing enthusiast but they had to take it out. It's sad. Other then that I had a wonderful time for the couple of hours that I was there. I love the slot machines that they have there. The device is great too. I can't wait to spend the night over there one day.
They offer if available late check out ! 1 hr =free, 2 hrs $20 extra, 3 hrs $50 extra. Responsible since check out is 11am (during the week)-I stayed on a Wednesday night- low floor. (Not sure if different the higher up the floor is).
The food court is open 24hrs in the MGM part of the hotel. Two room towers !
The shampoo and Conditioner are amazing! Not the cute little take away bottles - they do have some for sale if you love it!
The part I found very interesting about the casino … they have smoking and non-smoking sections - but they are all connected so I’m not sure how they keep it ventilated… the non- which are near the smoking still smell! Seems odd to me! Would be awesome if they had Hookah this would step up their game quit a bit!
They did have one of my favorite canned cocktails offered in their food hall! Can’t wait to be back to play slots and take long hot showers without the water running out! Cheers!
The hotel was easy to get into, parking was convenient and easy to navigate. The building and decor was beautiful and clean. We dont gamble but the ****** looked nice. Got the room because prior reviews said the beds were comfortable. Our bed was not great, seemed pretty typical for a hotel. The shower was nice, strong water pressure. I would say it was a bit too hot… even on the lowest temperature setting I was hot, and I like really hot showers. Lots of food options, albeit pricey. Loved the ocean view from the 40th floor. Had an issue with our keys- had 2 different reservations because Friday night was sold out at hotel so had to go online for the second night. Somehow we got checked out in the middle of the night and our keys got deactivated without our knowledge so we got locked out of the room. Staff resolved fairly promptly.
Very nice room. Very nice shower. Everything nice and clean. We got pizza from Pazata and it was delicious! The guy making our pizza was not very friendly and seemed annoyed when we were making our custom pizza. Aside from that we look forward to going back soon!
Was here for about 6 hours - - comedy show and gambling. From the valet staff, to show staff, to bathroom attendant, and casino staff, every employee was extremely nice and helpful.
It seems to be a very well run property. It was a very enjoyable evening.
Borgata is very nice, didn't get lucky unfortunately the machines didn't pay me to continue on playing which is a bummer. The decor is nice the buffet is awesome. It can use Brighting up its kind of dark but still nice regardless. This is definitely a place to still visit and enjoy.
