I had an amazing experience at Bocas House with a dear friend of mine. I was celebrating my birthday and Ruben Dario was so respectful would answer all my questions about food on the menu. Recommended great options of which I tried 2 different appetizers. Never was rude always with a smile. I am so happy we came I was in the area doing a photo shoot and we came to eat we live in Wellington FL. I'm glad we stopped by for some great food options. Can't wait to come back!! ????????
Excellent service! The Shrimp Saltado was one of the best I've ever had. The Pescado a Lo Macho was so flavorful! The Shrimp Causa was also great. Skirt steak fettuccine was awesome .The only reason I Didn't give it 5 stars on food is because the Huancaina sauce for the fried Yuka Appetizer was not good. I loved that the waiters bussed everything and cleaned our table as we ate.. Good Job to our server Stephani!
Our server Anays was wonderful, Attentive and informative. Great meal. So much fun. Beautiful atmosphere. The flavors of the octopus were amazing. And you have to try the pineapple rice!!!
Our waiter Ruben was great, he was very attentive and described our meals by detail which really helped us decide on what meals we should order. Presentation of food was amazing and food was great we all loved it! Overall it was a great experience and will be coming back soon
So, I checked out Bocas House recently, and it was a bit of a mixed bag. Let's start with the good stuff – the service was on point. The staff were attentive and made the whole dining experience enjoyable.
Now, onto the not-so-great part. The whole place smelled of fish! I get it's a Peruvian joint, but it was a bit overpowering. They might want to work on airing the place out.
The soups were loaded with veggies, which is cool, but they were a bit stingy on the meat. The food, in general, was good, but not mind-blowing. It could use a bit more oomph in the flavor department.
So, Bocas House, cool vibes and great service, but maybe invest in some air fresheners and dial up those flavors a notch!
We have been in metro Miami for less than an hour. I’m relearning Spanish and moving here. Starting with the silly. The background music over songs are amazing. Everything we ordered was fantastic. Our server was awesome.
I'm so glad I found Bocas as a late lunch option. The food was delicious and fresh. I would highly recommend the tuna bowl and the fried calamari. The Mezcal mule has a nice kick too!
Anays was a wonderful server - attentive and helpful at navigating the menu.
First time here and the food was so good! I loved happy hour here. They had such a cute drink for International Women’s Day. Ruben was the best server ever. He was so attentive and nice. Went above and beyond. Highly recommend! Coming back here much more often
