Best WLM Reviews

Pretty much everything was fantastic but the chicken that they are known for is very much lacking in every way. I honestly would recommend everything but that. The kids menu had a great variety which is nice to see.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. Coming in once your table is called is confusing if no one is at the special desk to tell you where to go exactly once your table is called, so it would be nice if they staffed that better than they currently do.
I love visiting the Bavarian inn! We ordered the ultimate meat platter (family style) and everything they brought out was very good! We did have to ask for a few things but besides that the service was really good. We asked for the mushroom gravy and they brought out two tiny cups. That is my only complaint- I wish they had brought out a big bowl like they did everything else. The dinner was $35 something each a person - but it’s unlimited and they let us take our leftovers. Can’t wait to visit again!
We had dinner here when visiting Frankenmuth for my wife's birthday. Being of German descent she wanted to try some German food. We were really impressed. The food was spectacular! The amount of food was unbelievable, we definitely didn't leave hungry! We especially enjoyed the Bavarian style carrot salad.
The service was fantastic. They always checked to make sure everything was good, and they even have an accordion player who was called over to play Happy birthday to my wife. All in all a fantastic experience and we're looking forward to coming back soon!
We were in Grand Rapids and my wife wanted to make the drive to Frankenmuth. During our walk this caught our eye. It is geared towards tourist. The selection of pastries is amazing, it was very difficult to choose which one to get. We selected a couple and they were very good
Brennan was awesome, super attentive and helpful. All the staff were actually amazing. Super friendly and kind.
The restaurant was gorgeously decorated and i loved all the shops under it. Excellent variety and great way to pass the time.
The food was really disappointing after a 2 hour wait. Most of the options for a gluten free were breaded or included it. I ended up getting chicken livers which was a huge size but they were really dry and I ended up throwing over half of it away. The potato cake things were good though.
My friends schnitzel looked dry and the mushroom sauce had a funky taste.
I actually wouldn't return but my friend loves it mostly.
My daughter is allergic to gluten, dairy, egg, soy cashew and peanut. The server was very helpful and patient with our questions. She double checked with the kitchen as to what foods were safe. She was able to order most items on the gluten free menu. She chose the steak, rice pilaf and vegetables. The meal was very good and she did not have a reaction. I highly recommend it and we will be back next time we visit.
The German town of Frankenmuth, Michigan, hosts several restaurants, but the Bavarian Inn Restaurant is my favorite.
Although there was a line, the wait wasn't too long.
German food ordered was served by waiters and waitresses dressed in German apparel. And wall decor, paintings, wood carvings, and ceiling lights all created an authentic German atmosphere.
Many choices of German food were on the menu. Their famous chicken meals made for a large group are fit for a king.
In all, the Bavarian Inn Restaurant is a place to stop and eat when you visit the German town of Frankenmuth. Don't forget to shop!
Michigan on main the bar and grill is not great. Go to the actual Bavarian restaurant for dinner. Bartender was completely absent, not personal at all, and food was super salty. Overall was not impressed at the bar and grill. The only good thing was the cheese puff things.
