Barona has a more.classic old school vibe I'.totally dig it! The games are the typical ones you find at most casinos with a few older classics thrown in. Beautiful location and.grounds. stayed at the hotel as well rooms are spacious, they even have a small balcony. Overall it's a pretty.good casino and hotel I've come out ahead on more.than a.few visits too!
The casino is a family friendly casino that allows gamblers at the age of 18+ and I didn't know that at first until I saw many young adults at tables with a little change and blindly playing blackjack and roulette lol. I never seen it before but it was a sight to see. I would recommend this casino to any family man or big family looking to stay and play in the San Diego area for a more than affordable price as well. Lots to do an lots to see!!! Thanks Barona, I'll be back!!!
I like Barona but.....
1. Slots not loose like they claim
2. Not a true non-smoking hotel
3. Some of the drink waiters are rude
4. You cannot just book a room, you have to gamble a ridiculous amount of money so that room isn't 'free'
5. The food is decent, but I apparently don't gamble as much as some because I never get food vouchers.
6. That drive can be scary into the mountains with no guard rails in the dark. People tailgate you but drive slow anyone, one mistake, you going over the side.
I still prefer this casino to Jamul or Viejas because it's not as smoky. Overall I'd recommend
I went to Barona by myself on my birthday. I played the slots and didn't win. However, I had the pleasure of their exceptional customer service. Inside the casino is so clean and sanitized. I love the fact that it is smoke-free.
A lady suttle driver treated me like royalty she took me on a tour of the grounds and shared the history of the beautiful sculptors. Barona has such a peaceful and spiritual vibe. Even when you lose, you walk away feeling like a winner.
Dakota at the service desk at the VIP cash service member you are really terrible with your decisions. Let me advise you a little So that can do better at this job.
First love your people, second love your customer, third offer something extra for your customer. Finally, if you don’t have the hospitality for your job then you should not work here because someone else can do better than you and provide better service.
The best customer service out of ANY casino! Amazing staff! Shout out to Mary from housekeeping and Adrian from room service! I can't say enough good things about this casino and hotel! It is my absolute favorite! We have the best experience everytime!
Rooms and Casino is clean, good food and lots of choices at food court, fast room service. VIP host, cadino staffs and Hotel service front desk to valet and Bell hop are very friendly and helpful. security staff and parking makes you feel safe. good menu and wine list in Steak House and Italian fine dining, fast service on all, good smoking areas and very clean restrooms.
Used to really enjoy coming here. No smoking was a huge factor in us going there. But the machines aren’t paying out nearly as much as they used to, and they’re letting our favorite staff members go. They’re getting cheap.
