Came for a weekend with my wife. First impression was that it was dated and had a strong smoke smell.
The room was new, clean, and great condition. Water was clean, and A/C was good. Smelled good. We like the pools and beach. The front desk was responsive and friendly. We would come back.
The resort was beautiful and team members where great. But LILY from the front desk SHOULD NOT BE WORKING IN CUSTOMER SERVES! I was charged twice 100$ hotel fee and I tried explaining to her before check out I tried showing her the transactions on my phone and she didn’t care and then I called a week after to follow up and she basically said oh well not our problem. She didn’t want to listen to me so I can explain what I was seeing in my bank account. She got loud with me over the phone. Such a bad experience. Please be better or even act like you care about your guest. I don’t think we will book there again after this experience.
The water is the showers was brown and yellow and the room smelled like pee.
Nice hotel. Rooms are large and clean. Family pool area and hot tub is nice. My main complaint is the Cafe. We got seated quickly but waited for 15 minutes with no one even coming to our table. Then a family that just walked in got served ahead of us. That was enough for us to walk out. Disappointing as the only other choice to eat on site was the food court. We drove over to Bullhead and ate dinner. The cafe has to do better.
The location is fine, away from the main drag.
Our room is good.
I just had 2 issues staying here.
1) The smell of cigarette smoke is intrusive. Inside our room was fine. Smell of smoke as soon as we got in the hall.
2) The second day of our visit, we went to the pool and were told that it was closed for a private event and it would reopen in the morning. One of the reasons we came was to spend time at the pool. Who does that?!
I've stayed a Avi a few times before, but I won't be coming back.
Nice location. Resort was fun with easy access to the river. We did have an issue with our room. The shower was throwing dirty water, kept coming out yellow. We called front desk and they told us to let it run for 30 mins. Nothing changed. Ended up using a family members room to shower.
One of my very closest friends, Larry beard, loved this place. He and his wife would go whenever he was anywhere close and stay at least one night. Larry had tons of money and could stay anywhere he wanted. But he loved the staff and the friendly treatment everybody got at Avi resort and casino.
Room was not an updated & luxurious room that I booked for our anniversary. The cabinet door was hanging off & we had to have repair man take off door. A tiny refrigerator which was ok. No microwave. The USB plugs did not work. I had no way to charge my phone. We stayed here because the internet showed the buffet was open. It was not open. We found a nice little restaurant that served delicious food with great service. Not up to date where you can check out on the tv. All the people were friendly. It was a disappointment to not have the buffet, which I consider false advertising.
The customer service was excellent and friendly. My mom stayed here while she was visiting and she kept changing rooms and added more days to stay and the staff was patient with her needs. The 3rd room she was in had some broken stuff in it and the maintenance team promptly fixed it. The other two rooms that she switched from were clean and remodeled but they had an issue with the shower and the fan in the bathroom didn't work. All in all though, the staff took care of it and I appreciate them being patient with my mom. My only real complaint would be the cigarette smoke permeating throughout the whole lobby area.
