The food was spot on. Steak was cooked perfectly and the chips, cheese plus chimichurri sauce all went together nicely. Almost 5 meals cost us £33 which we thought was a bargain. Only downside is the queuing time. Definitely worth another visit.
I don't often find myself in North London but I always try something out when I do come to Camden. Asador was one of those I have been wanting to try out and I did not regret it. For just £10 you can get steak on chips (£1 more with cheese which I would recommend getting), and it's one of the best value meals you will find. It all just comes together nicely, the steak is nice, the chips are soft and crispy and the chimichurri sauce is a nice touch. I will definitely go back again.
I visited this place off peak on Friday. I thought it was OK. The chips were nice and the Chimchury was a nice touch. Unfortunately the meat was not all lean and had some bits of fat but it's expected as its relatively cheaply priced at £10 a portion. We also got a goucho steak burger which was succulent and nice too.
Where do I start? What an experience! Firstly the queue…had no idea where it started from and then discovered it was going to be a very long wait indeed.
By the time we reached the counter to order we had been queuing for way over 30 minutes. We only ordered the Gaucho Burger as we had previously eaten.
After placing our order we had to join another queue to pick up. Again this was another long wait and couldn’t really tell if that was the line for Asador or the business next door.
When we finally got our burger (in total over 1 hour wait) it was delicious! The most flavourful and juicy burger I’ve ever had. The flavours were nothing like I had ever tasted before. The Gaucho burger was cooked to perfection and was a decent size.
My biggest regret is that I should have ordered 1 for myself. Lesson learnt…DO NOT SHARE as sharing is caring does not apply when you eat at Asador!!!
Now I understand all the hype and I would go back there in a heartbeat. The two guys working there did a fantastic job. One was cooking and the other taking the orders, trying to keep the queues in order and handing out the food. I can’t rave about this place enough. Just one word…GO!
Love Asador at Camden Market. Every time
I come to the UK - this is a must stop for me. Sucks that I have to cross the Atlantic to get this. Wish they had this in my hometown of Atlanta!!
The food is high quality and the beef is premium. For the price, I expected much less in terms of taste and quality but incredibly surprised at both!
I went on a weekend and had to wait 40 minutes for my meal but it was well worth it. I ate the steak on wedges.
Halal, scrumptious and so yummy, this meal is so worth its price. 10 pounds only!
This maybe the only place in London serving halal Argentinian food.
We tried their halal rib eye steak sandwich with additional cheese.
Overall, it is nice and affordable, it cost only £11.
The addition of chimmichuri made the taste somewhat unique.
The service is fast.
There's a long queue outside the stand, and it's easy to see why! Delicious sandwiches, great atmosphere. Thanks Ricardo! ????
