The park manager told me she would cancel my stay because a next door camper hooked up to my water hook up and was filling his tank and the temp was 30⁰ out. She told me I should have stopped him and told him he needs to go talk to the camp ground staff. That is not the responsibility of the camper, if the manager can't police her water hook up how can she expect a camper to? I WASN'T USING IT I WAS FOLLOWING THE RULES. The way she talks to people is unacceptable she calls it being firm and direct but she was just rude and treated me like a child.
Membership campground not open to public, review photos show swimming pool, it was destroyed by tornado now under construction.
Great level campings spots,fullhook up
Bath house was out of date, low showerhead, and a loose toilet seat. We stayed free under the requirement to take a hour tour and a seminar about their membership program. A very expensive membership, good program for some, almost purchased but decided it did not fit my future. May be worth contacting Outdoor Adventures about their program.
Staff is nice and there's a few things to do here. This place unfortunately got hit by a tornado so it's working on getting repaired at the moment, but someone was doing something to clear debris and rebuild every day.
Arrowhead Lakes Resort is a very nice, clean, and pretty campground. With the exception of the pool, which will hopefully reopen in 2025, you would never know this campground had been hit by a tornado in April 2023. I liked that they have someone at the entrance 24 x 7. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We will definitely come back to camp here again.
The campground is super nice. Quiet and laid back. Everyone was super friendly. Loved all they had to offer!
They still haven't rebuilt the indoor pool. It looks horrible. Other than that, it's nice. They have alot to do for kids on the weekends.
I have no idea how this place has so many good reviews. IT’S A SCAM. They call it a “membership” but it’s a time share. You will be told you can cancel, but you can’t. We threw away thousands of dollars after we were misinformed and manipulated into purchasing our package. We were told they would sell our package for us, when we went to meet with them they told us we couldn’t sell it unless we bought a more expensive plan. Don’t fall for it
My wife and I had a great time this past Saturday. We adventure out to check out the place. My wife got us a hotel for Friday so we didn't have to get up so early Saturday morning and make the drive down for our tour. We enjoyed the little small town of Wapakoneta. Had a lot to do before our appointment. When we got to the camp grounds we had a great time with our host. We joked around for awhile then got down to business. Yes we bought the membership. I would recommend this place to anyone that loves to camp. Yes we have a pull a long but we are campers not RVers. Can't wait to start are travels in the spring. Dave & Beverly from Akron, Ohio
