Ordered tacos al pastor and chili cheese fries with carne asada through the drive thru. The road was so loud we were barely able to communicate. It took a while to get our food and confusing on where to wait for it. Once we got our food I was disappointed to see my tacos were not authentic, they were hard shell tacos. They didn't even taste or look like al pastor (not a pineapple in sight) The fries were ok but it barely had any meet in them. Lots of cheese though. Maybe I confused this place with an authentic Mexican restaurant and it's just a local taco bell type of restaurant??
Ingredients are fresh and delicious, portions are large and filling but where's the flavor?!.. It's just plain chicken and vanilla ice cream has more excitement than that enchilada sauce.
Good and filling but bland
Absolutely the worst. Ordered posole. What I got was awful chicken soup with hominy. It came with tortillas covered in honey. Gross. I ordered soapapilla and got a fried tortilla. However I will say the fried jalapeños and cherry pie were both delicious. Over all I will not return to this place and would not recommend unless you’re going for the cherry pie.
Beyond disappointed paid $9 for a Carne Asada burrito, which was filled with nothing but mainly potatoes that tasted boiled what seemed like powered eggs and 8 LITTLE cubes of steak. This was at their thatcher location. Picked out my 8 tiny pieces of steak and the rest went straight in the trash. You should be ashamed charging $9 for that.
Stopped in for a breakfast burrito and got a lunch burrito as well. I was the only person in the place and it took nearly 10 minutes to get two burritos.
Carne Asada lunch burrito was 75% refried beans with a tiny bit of meat. She punched the sharpie through the foil and wrote on my tortilla...
Breakfast burrito was ok, nothing special.
Would not return, especially with all the better options around.
Staff was super nice and helpful, food was made to order. The shells were a little over cooked but other then that it was good. We had chicken taco/rice&beans dinner plate about 10.50 and a cup of menudo for about 4.40 came with tortilla, onions, seasons, and lime juice.
Wow, what a great meal, great service, great dessert. Highly recommended. Francisco G was a great server! You have to come here to eat!
Decent food at a reasonable price. As a longtime customer, I've noticed the quality of the food has improved over the last 4-6 months. Definitely going back soon...
