Best WLM Reviews

This was literally the first pizza I ever had. I grew up with this pizza and have been a long time customer since the age of five. I'm now 33. It truly breaks my heart to see the decline and customer service primarily, and craftsmanship for a long time local favorite.
The care truly just isn't there anymore. You try to call and the person on the phone is extremely rude. It almost feels like you're harassing them to place an order the way they talk to you. I understand how popular and busy this place gets but it's certainly a standard to speak to your customers with bare minimum respect, let alone appreciation for giving your hard-earned money in exchange for a good.
The pizza itself is really inconsistent depending on who is preparing. On its best days, it may very well be the best pizza in the Chicago land area. On its worse days, I wouldn't feed it to my dog.. I wish they used boxes so that you could actually check on the pizza before you pull off but they put it in a bag and staple it closed.
Simply put, the quality of the pizza is extremely inconsistent and the price has gone up dramatically over time. 31 bucks for a family cheese pizza is insane.. before you even get to toppings. I recognize inflation but this is honestly just a product of greed. Hate to say it but Arenello's has really dropped from his glory days to be an overpriced and inconsistent restaurant. Here's hoping that a change in management and the next few years will lead to a return to emphasis on quality and customer service.
Out of All the pizza joints in the area; NW IN and Chicagoland, They are THEE BEST! thin crust, deep dish, or the dinners, it's all so very good! Yes, it's the sweet sauce which is my favorite! So,if you aren't sure about a sweeter sauce start way thin crust. But our go to orders are either a Deep Dish with extra cheese and pepperoni or thin crust with pepperoni and green peppers. No need to order extra cheese on a thin because they cheese it up real good! Glenwood location is better than highland in my opinion but if you're closer to highland IN location, they're good too,but worth the drive to Glenwood. And the liquor store right next door is convenient to pop in on your way to get your pizza if it's a weekend and you need a nice cold adult beverage to go with your pizza!
I was very apprehensive about ordering from this place because of our experience over 5 years ago; the first time the pizza sauce was loaded with sugar and most went to waste. Personally, I had no interest in EVER ordering from this restaurant again.
Well, it’s Friday, long week, I’m tired and had no desire to cook. So, I asked my husband what would he like and he said just order a pizza from the restaurant by the house. Immediately, I was thinking “NO WAY.” But, I thought apparently my husband didn’t think the pizza was terrible so I decided, why not, I would give it another try.
After placing the order, I kept thinking about the possibility of the pizza being too sweet and a waste of money. I thought about canceling the order but I didn’t because apparently my husband wanted the pizza or maybe he just didn’t want to have to drive anywhere else.
Finally, he’s back and all I could do was be hopeful that the pizza would NOT be a waste. I didn’t even bother to get up to get some, I just sat in front of the tv, so my husband brought me a few pieces of pizza, and WOW,. When I say that the pizza was delicious, it was INCREDIBLY DELICIOUS. The crust was so THIN and CRISPY, the sauce was FLAVORFUL with maybe a pinch of sugar, loaded with plenty of SAVORY sausage and topped with FRESH mozzarella cheese. MOZZARELLA!!!!
Yes!!!! We’re full and very satisfied and we DEFINITELY will be ordering again. Thank you!
This place has still got it! We moved back to the area and haven't had Arrenello's Stuffed Pizza in about 10 years. They are a bit behind with technology, apps, and discounts but their food is worth it and keeps us coming back! Since being gone we've had plenty of Giordano's and Lou Malnati's. When it comes to food, Arrenello's is right up there, if not better. Thank you Arrenello's Pizza for continuing to make good food! Hoping you guys are around for decades to come!
My longtime favorite in the south suburbs! Kevin and his team have offered GREAT thin crust pizza I've enjoyed for over 30 years. Even stayed open late to make a pizza for me to take to take to one of my kids living in New York. Made me Dad of the year!
Just got 2 large spinach calabrese and a fiesta thin sausage, thin crust was fine.my proplem was one calabrese was large the other was small and only had cheese on half taste was off i didn't taste the large one.i live in dyer and quit going to schererville aurelios for similar issues not happy looks like Homewood will be getting the rest of my business
My first time trying their pizza and I am pleasantly surprised how good their pizza is.
It was tasty and cooked like how I like it ????
The service is top notch and down to earth. The cheese they use is grade A! I've had the deep dish before but wasn't a fan, only because it's too sweet of a sauce for my taste. However I recently tried the thin crust and it worked very well under the cheese with the sausage, bell pepper, onions and mushrooms. Seems like they saute the bell peppers and they are long pieces not diced. It's costly pie but we did get the 18 inch with 4 toppings, which came to $40. But all costs are rising. I would definitely come back to get a personal pizza for myself! I will have them brown the cheese next time. Definitely worth a try. I enjoyed the antipasto salad, just wish they chopped the meat and cheese instead of long slices that were still partially connected. I had to re-cut it which I didn't particularly mind doing but prefer it done for me if I'm paying for it.
