I had heard a lot of great things about Arpi's, so I made the hour long trek down. Glad I did. I got the lamb shawarma wrap, cucumber salad and cauliflower. All were very fresh and well seasoned. The house made pita for the wrap was perfect, it held together well but was still thin and tender to the bite. Will definitely be making the trip again to try their other dishes.
One of my favorite Mediterranean restaurants in Houston. Everything is fresh and amazing especially the cheese puffs.
Baklava is easily the best in the city as well.
Stay away from this place! My friend and I decided to grab a bite here, hoping for a delicious meal. We ordered chicken curry and a shawarma plate. Let me tell you, that chicken curry tasted like anything but chicken! And to top it off, the shawarma plate came without any salad or tomato. Can you believe it? As if that wasn't enough, they even tried to overcharge us for the shawarma plate. Thankfully, we caught their mistake and they corrected it, but if we hadn't been paying attention, they would've taken our money without a second thought. The lady working there was incredibly slow and had trouble understanding us. Needless to say, we will never set foot in this place again!

We've been going for years and service has declined tremendously. Latest (Dec. 2024) visit my wife got her food on the line and finished it before I got mine because I had to wait 20 minutes for them to bring it out. It was only a falafel wrap! Wasn't even that busy.
Omg best shawarma of my life! The beef shawarma is soo flavorful and it comes loaded with onions and tomatoes!
The garlic sauce is amazing along with the hummus and babaganoush.
The zattar potatoes are great and so is the Turkish coffee ice cream.
The iced caramel macchiato is not American flavor so don’t think it taste like your regular caramel macchiato.

This place has deteriorated a lot because the food portions are getting smaller and smaller every day. They always bring a surprise under the meat or chicken or whatever you order. They put 3 pounds of potatoes or 3 pounds of tomatoes and onions and then the chicken on top so that it looks like a lot of food. But when you start eating you realize that something is not right. They should change that and not deceive people. If you are going to sell a portion of chicken, it is chicken, not potatoes. Oh, I almost forgot. If you're going to order chicken shawarma, it's better to order the meat one because the chicken one only has potatoes and almost no chicken.
Ridiculous long long wait when you order to go. I waited 45 min to get my order to go. Super racist the employee. No costumers at all. No reason for long wait. When I asked how more longer? She told me a few minutes that's it. No quality food ???? I don’t recommended this place.
