Best WLM Reviews
First time here, came during lunch for my break. They have a section were the food is ready to eat and is visible to the guests. Since it is ready to eat it can be fast to get your food. They also have an option where you can order of a menu specific things you want. The service was very friendly and helpful. The gentlemen that was taking our order was very helpful and guided us through how to order. Food was good, try the lamb! They also have Hot tea available if you want to opt out on a cold drink. The ambiance is great and it makes you feel like you’re in their country trying their food.
We tried a few dishes and they were all good. The burgers made with gyro or shawarma were pretty good and so were the kabobs.
The atmosphere is nice but very basic. Service also rather basic but friendly.

Arpeggio Grill is tucked away spot but a place that knows your order, and that you like your Mediterranean with zero frills and all the flavor.
Every time I walk in, it feels like I’m reconnecting with an old friend—one who just happens to make amazing gyros. Not a trendy spot, no belly dancing or dim lighting here, just a place where the vibe is easygoing and the service is friendly. And that’s the charm.
When I need my Mediterranean fix, their gyros are my go-to. They’re ridiculously good, the tea is spot-on, and they even do a mini pistachio pastry that punches well above its weight class.
For fairness, here’s the “flip side” (or what passes for one): Arpeggio isn’t shy about authenticity, so you might find that gyro doesn’t have the usual Americanized toppings. Just ask about the dish if you like your ingredients predictable.
And if your car sits a little low, consider skipping the Airport Blvd entrance unless you want a thrilling undercarriage scrape. Take the Huntland side street instead.
A quick tip for late arrivals—these folks start winding it down about 15 minutes before closing, so if you’re rolling in that last half-hour, it might be best to grab it to go. Saves everyone a rush, and you’ll still get all that goodness.
All in all, Arpeggio’s is a comfortable, unpretentious gem with wallet-friendly prices and fresh flavors. I’ll be back for those gyros as long as they keep ‘em rolling. And who knows? Maybe I’ll even try out the patio next time, or snag one of those floor tables.
It's a great place to stop by for a friendly and comfortable environment. They have a buffet for lunch, and you can always go for their " lunch specials " to have a healthy vegie or non-vegie plate. The kebabs are the "my to go" with the salad on the side. However, the rice is soft, and if you are not eating a lot, you can just pass it.
A very nice halal Mediterranean restaurant in Austin. There is plenty of seating, can probably support up to 100 people. There is no formal wait staff and you have to order at the front desk. Food was generally good and tasty, especially the gyro and grilled chicken.
We got to experience Arpeggio grill while visiting Austin. The ambiance of this restaurant is incredible. There’s plenty of room. There’s a really nice seating arrangement on the floor. But we were not able to use it as it was reserved. We ordered chicken and beef shawarma’s, kebab platter, cheese and meat lovers pizza. The food was freshly made. Overall, all the food was bland. The spice level was minimal. The pizza was good. The shawarmas were okay. we would have liked more flavor. It was an okay experience. The staff were nice. Do check them out.
Great Mediterranean food with a broad menu of items to choose from.
Conveniently located in Austin, very near Austin Community College and the CapMetro Highland Mall bus and train stations.
This is my kind of comfort food.
Family friendly and an inclusive atmosphere with super service.
Plenty of free parking too. And ADA compliant.
Tasty Baklava
Thought I'd give this Mediterranean a try. The restaurant isn't located in the most appealing location in town and the little strip mall is a bit sketchy, but once inside you get a cool Greek vibe. Low light and a cushioned floor seating area. Be advised you'll need to call ahead to sit in this area.
The restaurant has a wide variety of foods, I had the mixed kabob plate, it was on par with what I've had at other Mediterranean restaurants, that said the tzatziki sauce was better than average.
After dinner decided to give the baklava a try. They have 3 varieties, walnut, pistachio, and extra large pistachio. I went with the regular pistachio. I was unexpectedly surprised with the taste. It was just right, not overly sweet with good flavor. It was the highlight of the meal. Will have to go back and try the pizza and wings. I caught a glimpse of the pizza and it looked rather good.
