Best WLM Reviews
Wow. Now this is absolutely the best Indian food I've ever had. I went with my friend and let me tell you we were starving. As soon as we went into the place you could just smell all of the goodness. We were greeted at the door by a very lovely woman and she recommended the butter chicken. My friend Dan had one of those rice bowls.
Excellent customer service and it was a very nice ambience. Now let's get to the food that butter chicken was some succulent flavorful and it wasn't too creamy. The blend was just right sometimes when they use all of those creams and yogurts and all that it can change the flavor too much but this was the perfect for me. I don't know how they made this dish, but they had the right combinations for the delicious creations. I look forward to going back.
Oh, before I forget, the Garlic Nann was really phenomenal. We have the spicy one I wish I'd had two orders! I can eat that all day with the sauce.
They have good Kerala food and good service. Definitely a go to place If you love the Kerala food. Probably the best kerala buffet which i had in NY- NJ- Philly area.
There are no reservations and it is first come first serve.
We celebrate many celebrations in our family at Aroma. Their food is excellent and the service exceptional. We look forward to going to their buffet. I can't say enough good things about this restaurant.
Went for a Sunday buffet. Indian food of very mediocre quality. Many of the items were completely unidentifiable even for an Indian person! I took what I thought was a main entree and it turned out to be a dessert! The names are unpronounceable and there is no description whatsoever of the dishes. We had to ask other patrons if they knew what each item was and managed to get a few answers. One of the dessert items was basically condensed milk almost straight of a can with some minor additions. Will probably not return anytime soon.
I recently dined at Aroma Indian Restaurant in Warren, NJ, and unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. I had high expectations, but the reality fell far short. The food quality was the first major letdown. Dishes lacked flavor and freshness, making the entire meal a bland experience. Some of the curries tasted as if they had been sitting out for far too long, and the naan was dry and unappealing.
To make matters worse, several items on the buffet ran out quickly and were not replenished. It was frustrating to see empty trays and to have to repeatedly ask the staff if more food would be brought out. They seemed disorganized and overwhelmed, which only added to the negative experience.
Adding insult to injury, there were no complimentary items provided, which is something one might expect given the steep prices. Speaking of prices, the cost for our group of 28 people was exorbitant. We were charged over $1000, which was incredibly steep considering the subpar food and service we received. It felt like a complete rip-off, especially given the poor quality and lack of variety.
Overall, Aroma Indian Restaurant was a major disappointment. Poor food quality, inadequate buffet management, no complimentary items, and outrageous prices make it a place I would not recommend. Save your money and find a restaurant that values its customers and delivers on quality and service.
Went here on Onam Saturday for Onam Sadhya and Aroma did not disappoint. The Onam buffet was plentiful and delicious. The amount of dishes that was available was really impressive. They even had chicken, goat, and fish fry so not all vegetarian as usual Onam which was a plus.
They had appam, puri, naan and chicken biriyani as well. For $25 a person that's a great spread. For dessert they had 3 different kinds of paysam and halwa. The paysam was ok, little too sweet. The puri was awesome, perfectly made and soft.
The only reason I'm taking a star off is that they were a little slow refilling the chicken dishes and the fact that it was overcrowded. Besides all that the food was delicious and I would come back to try more dishes here.
Came here on a saturday buffet and amazed by the sheer number of items in the menu. This is kerala cuisine at its best, not your regular buffet. Its pricey $25, but the authenticity and variety do justify it. I am a malayali from Chennai and i can tell you that you cant get a buffet like this even in Chennai. A big thank you to the chef and owner to provide such an authentic experience.
Have been coming here for years with my family and friends. Most recently they got back their old chef and the food has been better than ever!
Specifically I recommend the dosa and any and all South Indian specialties.
The weekend buffet is 10/10. They have the popular dishes like Butter Chicken, Biryani and Naan as well as specialties. If they’re full, usually the wait time is less than 20 mins and the food is definitely worth the wait! There is a time limit of 40 mins for the buffet, but it’s more than enough time to get a taste of everything and finish off with some masala chai.
