Best Cuban food I've had in a long time! Shredded pork was tender and flavorful, beans and rice were the best I've ever had! Plantains were good too. Dining area had tropical vibes with wall murals of white beaches and palm trees surrounded it and lighted up palms in the middle. Loved it!
Was craving a Cuban sandwich and this place does not disappoint!! So so good. Great portion on the small and really loved the battered fries as well. Seating inside and out, walk up counter to order with buzzer when food was ready, which was fast! Workers nice and friendly! Will visit again and bring friends and family!! Clean restaurant and restroom facilities +++
I lived in South Florida for years and fell in love with Cuban food. I was very excited to try this place. I had never stopped in before because its in a very awkward spot and it always seems there's nowhere to park. I took that as a good thing though, that the food must be wonderful!!! Well, I was unfortunately VERY disappointed!! I paid $15.00 for food that I couldn't eat! The Cuban was very dry and bland it was all bread hard,chewy bread! The black beans and rice were ok but definitely not worth $15!! ????♀️????
Prices are really great. came for the Cuban and was not disappointed. I'd stay away from the empanadas, the guava and cream cheese one lacked filling.
A good change of pace....
I found this place by accident, but it turned out well. The building is not much to look at, but don't let that dissuade you. The staff is really kind and helpful. The restaurants decor is interesting yet unique (very Cuban if that is a thing). The food was delicious - we had the chicken with rice and beans and tried the empanadas.
This place is unique and worth a visit.
I've taken family and/or friends there 4 different times. People who didn't know if they liked Cuban food. Well, they know now! Every one of them have been back. One took her husband back the same week. This is consistently very good food. Lean, clean, delicious meats. Sides that are tasty and tempting. I haven't tried the desserts, but they look good, too. Start with the Cuban sandwich and branch out from there with something new every time you go back. You will want to go back. ????
Got the large Cuban sandwich… boy was it large. Perfectly toasted and delicious. The servings are plentiful and made it well worth the money.
Nice to have something different & Aroma Cafe offers it from their Cuban sandwiches & fried plantains to their empanadas & papas. The Pulled Pork sandwich was also very good. Sandwiches come in small or large size to match your appetite. My eye is on the Ropa Vieja with Rice & Beans for my next visit.
The seating area inside is a little dark so recommend eating outside if it's a nice day. The plantains & papa is a more acquired taste.
